Visited here for a job interview, the staff seemed super nice, the property was very clean and quiet. They have a million things to keep their residents occupied from bible study , movies, art n sip, aerobics, and a ton more. There is a daily morning wellness check and the front desk staff is on call 24-7... They have a great dining area that smelled amazing and from what I could tell they have assisted living quarters surrounding the main area (apartments) and then some closer living quarters depending on the needs of tha Adult .... 😀

My interactions with Brookdale Charlotte East began several years before we moved our dad into Independent Living last October. During those years, Bridget stayed in touch over the years and checked in to see how Dad was doing. When it finally came time to make the move for him last fall, she was the first person I called to check if there was availability. I was happy to see that what made me think Brookdale Charlotte East would be a good fit in 2021 was still true in 2024. Staff was caring and friendly, and I could see a level of resident interaction that was the missing link for the social aspect my dad needed and wasn't getting by living on his own. It was hard for Dad to accept this time in life, but slowly he developed friendships that made it easier. Unfortunately a recent health matter required Dad to step up his daily living and care needs. The staff at Brookdale Charlotte East made it easy for me to make the decision to move him into their Assisted Living area. While he's only been in AL for a week, I believe we have found the same level of care and concern for his well being at this end of the house too. Personally, I have come to rely upon my relationships with staff to help balance having to work full time with my concerns over my aging father and providing him with what he needs. And I feel lucky to have connected with some fabulous residents as part of my visits with Dad! Brookdale Charlotte East is truly a "community" for which they foster on a daily basis for anyone who comes through the doors. I would recommend them if your loved one is in need.

My grandfather has been living at Brookdale Charlotte East for about a year and a half and we have loved the care he's receiving. Every time we visit, both the residents and staff are very friendly and pleasant. My grandfather is an extremely picky eater, but is always satisfied with the food provided. His nurses and care providers (PT, OT, etc.) truly care for him and provide quality care. There are a variety of activities/entertainment options for the residents and the outside of the building is beautiful due to the wildlife sanctuary. We are so thankful for all of the people at Brookdale Charlotte East!

I have been a resident in Brookdale Charlotte East for a short time but I am completely satisfied with the warmth and care I have been shown here by the staff and the residents. There is always something to do weather it is entertainment, group shopping or just commiserating with other residents. I truly feel like I am with family and friends here.

My Mom was ready for assisted living so I reached out to A Place for Mom and was referred to 4 places to start looking. We were very fortunate to have Brookdale East as our first place to look into. Mom and I met w Bridget and toured the facility and ate lunch w a resident who filled us in on the day to day at Brookdale. I must say that the food was and has been not just ok, but very good. Mom chose her apartment that afternoon and is now a new resident. I want to thank every employee at Brookdale for making my mother feel so welcome. Starting in the kitchen, Chef Juan can really cook. Daryl and Chris are servers and strive to please and are very pleasant. Its obvious that Serene and Nachelle love their job and the residents. Mary has to be the best Director we have had the pleasure of dealing with. I want to thank Derrick and Terry of the maintenance team for jumping on the small issues that Mom was having. Thank you to Levi for all you do, you are amazing. A special thanks to Bridget who was instrumental in mom's decision to choose Brookdale. As her son, I am grateful to everyone here, it's such a relief knowing my mother is at a place she loves calling home and that is full of amazing people.
