I attended their Danish Festival invited by my friend who is part of the band " Brass From The Pass Band " that poerformed there. The people there were so friendly, food was excellent, I bought a danish from the 7 sister, a " Kringle" I had never tasted before, oh it was so delicious, the banana bread also, the atmosphere was just so serene full of peace, very clean environment, looking forward to visiting again.

My husband Joe and I are so very happy to have our aunt and uncle at the Danish home. The whole staff is not only so helpful, but they've gone above and beyond anything we expected. They show genuine care and attention to their needs. We recommend the Danish home to our family and friends.

My mother has lived at The Danish Home for over three years now and loves it there! She is 93 years old and has a lovely suite with lots of windows - and spends her days enjoying the company of other seniors. Chef Roger makes the BEST food and mom doesn't have to worry about cleaning or laundry or anything (we children joke that we wished we lived there!). The staff is so kind and attentive, and since it is a small community we all know one another. I would give it 11 stars if I could! And they have great events for the family and friends to join in, picnics, dinners etc. The Danish Home is a gem, and I am so thankful for their great care of my mother and our family

Truly the definition of home, all the staff at The Danish Home were absolutely wonderful the entire time my MIL lived there. She lived with us for 8 years before we moved to Chicago and was apprehensive about being in a home, until she toured the Danish home and knew that it would be a lovely place to reside. The fact that she was Danish made it all the more special with their warm traditions, delicious food, and just having a few friends who could speak the language. Five stars all around.

This is a wonderful facility! Highly recommended! The nurses and CNAs work so hard to accommodate all the needs of the patients. They go above and beyond the call of duties. Kudos to all of them.
