My husband was sent there for rehab after surgery. Horrible experience. Not clean. Thank goodness I was able to be there to care for him. 45 minutes he rang for help in the night. Across from nursing station. Just heard them all night laughing and talking. Not once did they take temp. Blood pressure etc
No washcloths. Stained sheets. Had to ask for everything. He had a drain tube…an LPN came in to empty it after we requested her to do this. She came in and ask if I knew how to do this. Thank goodness I did from asking questions
What rehab? Still waiting for that answer
He had to have a TB test. I said really he just had surgery and tons of bloodwork
There is much more here but not enough space to write it all
I’m not usually a complainer. But when your loved one needs comfort and care you also need peace of mind that they will receive just that.
I feel for the ones that do not have someone to be there with them. This experience has really opened our eyes. If ever needed again it will not be there
Awful. Do not bring your family here. Horrible care and service. Left my grandma in a mess while the emergency button had been ringing for like 30 minutes. We had to go get the staff to help and all they were doing was laughing and playing around. Very mad and very upset.
The care has been very limited and the facility is not clean. High risk for injury for patients with limited mobility that are not urgently attended to and have to take care of themself. Aides are not properly trained to take care of patients. Would not recommend. Be aware of the care your love one will NOT get there! Not even deserving of a 1 star!
People leaving reviews are extremely sensitive (fairly) because it’s their family member who is staying at BoM. However, it is not fair to allow one bad experience to define your entire opinion. Nearly all residents in the skilled nursing facility require round the clock care and some cannot be left alone for more than a few minutes at a time, lest they hurt themselves or someone else. It is physically impossible to be with each resident at all times, and often anything can and does happen that requires immediate staff attention, especially since there are some demented residents on every unit in the building. Please be patient with staff who are doing their best despite often not having enough people who want to perform this type of care for you grandparents, and think about the reasons that your grandparent is in the facility in the first place instead of being cared for by you, at home. Then, go ahead and write your nasty review once you’ve thought about that.
Family member has been there one week and so far so good! All staff members are trying very hard; overnight attention is excellent as well. Physical therapy is strong, really getting patients moving. I am hearing the food is great, lots of variety and can choose from new menu each day.
