My mom and I took a tour of Brookdale last week and it was wonderful! Not only were they so polite and kind, they had lunch made for us and had wonderful Brookdale-ambassadors, who are residents, to sit with us and chat about how they liked Brookdale. Tiffany gave us a splendid tour, Nancy (the executive director) was extremely personable, everyone was so friendly, the place is immaculate and very homey. It is also very close to our home which made it a prime candidate.
We were deciding between two assisted living facilities over the weekend. My mom chose a different facility because there was a kitchenette in the bedroom which Brookdale had not currently available. I would recommend Brookdale for a tour to definitely check it out!

My Mom has been a resident of Brookdale Assisted Living for two years. Even though she began her stay in March 2020, at the height of the pandemic, we have felt confident that she is in the best place possible. The staff takes good care of her. Due to quarantines, Covid testing of residents, staff, and all visitors, vaccines for all interested residents, temperature testing, and other measures, Director Nancy Barbee and her staff have done a great job providing a safe environment for my Mom and the other residents. Although my mom does not participate in too many of the activities, there are plenty of activities offered every day. It has been a tough time for all of us, but especially assisted living and nursing home facilities, but Brookdale Dr. Phillips has done a great job!

Brookdale Dr. Phillips has been a God sent for our family. Our mom is 91 and has been a resident at the assisted living facility since the summer of 2019. The staff has always been loving and caring since day one, mom tells us every day how grateful she is to be living there. The facility is in a very nice property and great neighborhood, the rooms are spacius and kept really well, the property has trees and greenery all around, tucked away enough to be safe for the residents to enjoy the outdoor space. They also have activities and events during Holidays that the residents enjoy very much as well as activities every week, like games and entertainment. The main thing I wanted to mention is their incredible work during the pandemic to keep their residents safe. They took measures above and beyond and they were rigorous in their commitment to take all steps necessary to navigate the worst of it, they also kept us fully informed through out. Nancy, the Director and staff did an amazing job and always with great love and care. Our family feels assured that mom is in caring hands, safe and she is most of all, happy, and in the end that is all we can hope for.

My mother in law was a patient at this facility since 2017 up until her passing this year, 2022, while hospicing in place with Cornerstone. The entire staff was compassionate and dedicated to the care of our loved one. Nancy, Paige, and Issac provided leadership that resulted in the best care and collaboration for families, staff, and patients during Covid-19 implementing best practice safety measures for all. We were very grateful for the open door policy and responses from Nancy. No better place for your loved one when you're concerned about their care and safety. Very low turnover amongst the very dedicated staff.

Nancy Barbee and her staff have taken very good care of my Mom. I normally travel alot, so knowing she was in good hands while I'm away gave me a big sense of relief. They have tackled with me, any issues that Mom may have, to ensure she's as comfortable as she can be. Nancy goes out of her way to make sure the residents feel cared for, she even worked the salon some during the pandemic, so those who needed a good shampoo were not neglected. She has the same compassion with her staff I can see that she tries to anticipate everyone's needs there at the facility. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, but we were kept informed of the latest protocols, which they strictly adhered to. Even though Mom grumbles about wearing the medical mask, I know that overall she is safe at Brookdale.
