Atria on the Hudson

After only a few weeks in assisted living at Atria on the Hudson, it became apparent to all that our family member needed more care. With tremendous team work, we were able to have her move into a Life Guidance apartment. The level of compassion by the Atria staff, during this difficult and stressful time was amazing. We owe much thanks to Kristen (Executive Director), Naomi (Social Services Director), and Marie (RN, Resident Services Director) for their assistance and kindness during this move. Caroline Silver, Director of Life Guidance, is a blessing. She is so understanding and kind, and always responsive to both our family member and our needs. She and her staff have made us more at ease knowing they are providing such good care. Our family member has been at the Atria for only a few months, but we’ve started to see a positive change in her attitude and behavior. It is reassuring knowing our family member is so well cared for at Atria on the Hudson. Thanks to all.

Love The Atria on The Hudson!!! Great place and Great people that take such good care of your loved ones. Marie is The Greatest. She takes her time and knows all the residents and cares for them as they are a part of her own family. Love the Naomi, Jennifer and Kristen is wonderful.

Atria on the Hudson is a beautiful place with caring staff and wonderful offerings of activities for the residents. Directors are always reachable and helpful. Dining services are excellent - food is high quality and service is exemplary. Andrea Dumas, Activities Director, is warm, caring, reachable and always willing to help - encouraging my reluctant mom to be engaged.

My very dear friend just lost her husband of 64 years just as they were about to move into Atria. I helped her move into Memory Care last week (so sad without her husband) and I have been so impressed with the care they are providing. My friend has very advanced dementia and I have to tell her everyday that her husband died. Atria has the kindest most experienced staff. They are patient and create a caring atmosphere. I am so grateful for their thoughtful creative approach to reducing my friend’s anxiety. Thank you Atria.

After looking at 13 places, we found Atria on the Hudson and it’s been a great fit. My godfather is still active at 95 and has settled in to the community well since December. It’s been a huge transition post the loss of his one and only, but he’s increasingly joining activities and grocery shopping and consistently tells me “they do a really good job here” and the food is great. All the staff are cheerful and have been available and helpful when I have had medical or housekeeping or billing or front desk questions. My go-to outreach for updates and more is Andi. She is wonderfully responsive and knows how he is doing, as she runs the activities and has encouraged his participation along the way. Whether it’s a little help with technology or saying “yes i will try and let me see what i can do” I am so grateful. Today she found a way to project turner classic movie channel in the auditorium when the planned movies aren’t playing, for example. Basketball games at the bar, the grounds and pool, happy hours, friends, food and field trips — quality of life isn’t so bad! Thank you all, and thank you Andi!
