NORBELLA PRIOR LAKE

My mother-in-law moved into Norbella Prior Lake a few years ago - one of the first residents. We had been looking around and seemed that many of the facilities were too big for our taste. Norbella was newly built and provided the environment we were looking for - a smaller, one- level, cozier place. It has worked out very well for us. The location is great, the food has been very good, and of course the care has been exceptional. I would recommend Norbella for your loved one!

My brother has resided at NorBella Prior Lake for almost a full year. We have found it to be a very good fit for him. He had lived in a small town and I liked that it was a one level facility located in a quiet rural type setting with rooms that are individual studio apartments. Sarah (Director of Nursing) and Abby (Executive Director) are very pleasant and easy to interact and communicate with, always eager to help with any concerns. All of the facility staff are compassionate and caring. There is a nice variety on the dining room menu. Housekeeping does a good job keeping the the floor and bathroom clean. Various activities and outings are provided for the residents to partake in. My brother has been very content living there. NorBella Prior Lake has proven to be a wonderful choice for him.

We moved our mom to NorBella Prior Lake 7 months ago. The care provided to her has been very good. The staff are very friendly. They offer fun, enjoyable activities indoors and outdoors. The food is good and they offer a variety of choices. The rooms are spacious, we were pleased with how much we were able to bring from her home and it made mom very comfortable. We would highly recommend NorBella Prior Lake

NorBella is an amazing place! My mother moved into assisted living years ago. When she moved, NorBella wasn't in the area, and we didn't know about them until my wife and I decided to start looking for a better place for her to live. The residence she was living in had barely any staff on hand and she didn't have any activities for her to keep her mind stimulated. We visited NorBella to take a tour of the facilities and I fell in love with this place immediately! After she moved in, she got settled in and already started doing activities almost the first day she moved in. The staff are caring and willing to help her with her daily needs. My mother has a new best friend, and they play cards, sit at the table and socialize. Several months ago, she ended up in the hospital and had to stay there for an extended time. Every time I would stop in to check on her mail, and get things for her, everyone would ask how she is doing and when she will be back? It was refreshing to have residents and staff alike who care for each other. Everyone sits at the same table and laugh, talk and eat a wonderful meal together. To sum it all up, this is the best!

After a rough health year with my mom including several trips to the ER, her cognitive function declining, but with encouragement from my moms care team - it was time to move her to assisted living. To be honest, I had been researching and touring AL facilities in the south metro since her first fall in March of 2023 with not a lot of confidence in the ones I actually toured. Most of them had reviews of 2.3 - 3.5 out of 5 stars. Then I found NorBella with 4.8/5 stars. I thought this can't be real. I reached out, toured and knew this was the place for my mom. Right away the admissions staff was understanding, compassionate and efficient and easy to work with regarding my mom's specific situation. It eased my mind and lifted the weight from my shoulders. My mom has struggled with difficult changes over the last year (mentally, physically and emotionally), and the whole team (the chef's, admissions, nursing and activities) have been so supportive not only of me, but more importantly, my mom. The communication, respect, honesty and trust is awesome at NorBella! I would highly recommend checking them out!
