The first time I arrived on time from clipboard health and Mary (the older lady in the office)took one look at me and canceled my shift said they overbooked…. The second time I arrived on time she saw me and blocked me while I was on shift. She apparently has an issue with my skin tone as I haven’t done anything that would cause her to dislike me

Pretty clean, but has a very retro outdated feel to it. Residents seem happy. They have daily activities to keep their residents busy. Some of the care giver staff are quite young and don't have the best "bedside manner". Not to say they are mean, just that they are not very tactful sometimes in my opinion.

Note: better than boarding homes for my aged dad, But, rent was raised 6.3% when SSA increased only 1.6%. Also note that they do not communicate well. Twice I have gone to the front counter to discuss an issue about my dad only to be told they did not know or could not help but the manager/director can help and will call me if I leave my name and phone number. Guess what - no call back either time.

Staff was really kind and genuine with my mother in law. Grounds are shabby but care is top notch—don’t be seduced by other homes with nice grounds but subpar human touch. Common rooms with a piano a plus.
