Our experience with The Landing of O’Fallon has been excellent. We moved Mom to The Landing Memory Care from a different facility. The quality of care improved signifcantly. Mom lived there for 6 years until her passing, and we could not have asked for any better care in a compassionate, supportive and attentive home. Leandra and her team were amazing, caring for our mom and supporting our family. They genuinely treat residents, and their families, as a part of their family.
They removed my original post after my mother passed away in their Memory Unit.
The nurses and staff care deeply about the patients as long as your loved one has no other issues. They are not equipped or staffed with the level needed for when your loved one’s health decreases due to the Memory loss. The care declines and it is best you move your Loved one’s health decreases to a more skilled facility or home with Hospice.
Well, I can honestly say for the first time since my disability I do believe I have been discriminated against because of my physical disability for a front desk position. That I held previously( pre broken femur) I was an excellent employee. Therefore, I can't say that it is an fair, honest and non discriminative place to work. However, it is a beautiful, clean and cheery facility. The staff genuinely care about the residents. Especially in memory care. The staff is so patient, kind and understanding with residents and family. In that setting it can get extremely challenging for all. Takes special people to work in memory care. Not all are cut out for it. They do a wonderful job. The food has a good variety and delicious. All staff engage with residents and activities plentiful. I would feel comfortable putting my The reason I gave it a 3 out of 5 was due to discrimination aspect.
I did a presentation and exhibit of vintage evening bags at The Landing of O'Fallon this week and was blown away by the hospitality and high level of engagement by all the staff and residents I had the joy of interacting with. The residents here are clearly thriving and living their best lives, so much joy and laughter, and so many fun things going on for everyone to keep active. Margie O'Quinn went above and beyond to ensure my program was a success and that I was well taken care of as a facilitator. I can't speak highly enough of her passion and professionalism. I would gladly recommend this community to anyone looking for themselves or a loved one! Truly exceptional!
As a caregiver I have toured many facilities in St.Charles county. Hands down The Landings get a 5 star rating. My uncle has been there for the past 2 years and has flourish. It's the #1 place I recommend to my clients as their love one needs more care. The staff there is exceptional!
EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN!
