How do you combine the comfort, convenience and hospitality of Assisted Living without losing the feeling of home?  At Commonwealth House, our answer is to bring assisted living back home!  We have converted a single level residence in a residential neighborhood into a fully licensed and staffed assisted living.  By keeping things small, we are able to provide the most personalized care for our residents, with all of the comforts of home!

At Commonwealth House it is our goal to provide care that most closely resembles what one would find at home with family.  Our skilled staff is fully licensed in their field, but at the same time, they are given the freedom to engage our 10 residents as people, not numbers.  Our small scale allows us to do away with the corporate structure and hierarchy found at most Assisted Living facilities.   This way we can concentrate on the person, providing the most personalized care possible to the resident.

Commonwealth House is a wonderful place for anyone requiring assisted living. The facility is very clean and the grounds are beautiful. They provide a secure homey atmosphere where the residents receive a lot of  great and individualized attention. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Mandi and Graham are great people who care about their residents with a positive attitude. I have been very impressed by Commonwealth and am so grateful my sister is a resident there. So much more personalized and not just part of a large entity. Some seniors are much happier in the type of atmosphere that Commonwealth offers.  Unique !

Commonwealth House Assisted Living has been a blessing to both my sister, who is a resident, and our family!  We are so pleased with the homey feel, the cleanliness, friendly staff and awesome owners.  Mandi and Graham have helped us all with her transition to assisted living.  Sheri has made friends and is very comfortable here.  All the staff are attentive to the needs of their residents.  We couldn’t be more pleased that Sheri has found a safe place to call home.

I toured Commonwealth last week as I am starting to look at places for my mom. I went thinking it would be too small but thought I'd check it out anyway. I fell in love. The place was so nice. It had that feeling of "being at home" throughout the whole place. It was clean and comforting. They had so much to offer. Graham and his staff were so friendly and answered all my questions. If it were for me, I'd choose it in a heartbeat. I'd recommend a walk through if you are in the process of looking for that Special place.

Commonwealth House is an incredible place. I really enjoyed meeting the staff, owners and residents. The house is beautiful, clean and safe. Mandi the chef was cooking up a tasty lunch that smelled great when I was there. We are so happy we found Commonwealth Assisted Living.   Commonwealth is a very nice small assisted living for people who want a home like setting with only 10 residents and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.   Staff provide excellent care to the residents.  Communication between owners Mandi and Graham, staff and family is wonderful.  They have fresh meals made daily by an in home chef, common areas to watch tv, family style eating, lovely outdoor patio with beautiful flowers and bird feeders and activities for residents.
