10/17/24  While dropping off some items at the nursing home today, I was grateful for the warm greeting from a staff member who escorted me to my grandmother's room. It was a joyous moment to hug and express my love for my grandma, but saying goodbye was challenging given the changes she's facing.
I had parked right at the front door to quickly drop the items off and God gave me the gift of a much needed hug and “I love you” from my grandma and even a staff member embraced me with a genuine hug on my way out. Thank you for your compassion and empathy today. The power of love and kindness can make all the difference.

My mother is in the Memory Care wing at Chaucer. We had tried a nursing center closer to where most of her grown children live, and it didn't work out. Chaucer is a dream come true for us! Everyone has been very kind and helpful.  All of our concerns and questions are addressed, administration is wonderful, and the staff in the memory care wing are sweet and kind. They go the extra mile. The food is very good, too, and our mom loves it. My husband and I often pop in at different times during the day (because we are retired) and have never once seen or heard anyone mistreating a patient. Most important of all is that our precious mother is happy and well cared for.

Excellent facility. Great ratio of nursing to residents. Quick response times to call lights. Best care available in town  Approachable and caring administration. Relax calm environment. Been in this field for over 20 years and it’s the best facility by far. More potential residents and families should be aware of this fabulous place. You will love it
