My mother is 92 years old. She has lived in her single family home for 65 years. The transition to move her to an senior living environment wasn't easy. But Cari Cowen made the move seamless. Her compassion and caring demeanor helped beyond words. From the minute we first spoke on the phone I felt comfortable. Honestly, she is one of the main reasons we chose American Home. My mother is thrilled to move in. Thank you Cari and American Home for all you do. I feel at peace my mother will be well taken care of.

Cari Cowen had gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition from hospital downsizing from a home for my brother. I was having to do all this remotely from NC. Offering advice and resources at anytime always available as if my brother is the most important resident. She was there from beginning to move in and still continues to check in on him to make sure he’s adjusting and utilizing all the amenities American House has to offer. My brother is beyond thrilled to be there and looking forward to the next chapter in his life he is young only 55 due to mental and physical challenges this was clearly the best housing option for him and he is thriving! This is a very daunting challenge for any family - Cari has been there every step of the way - I know consider her family and call her my friend! Thank you Cari I could have been never navigated this without you.

American House was an easy choice for my dad after hospital stays and rehab. He had specific requirements for going into a senior living facility and AHC was the right fit. It’s a nice an affordable place to live,  My dad requested a first floor apartment with easy access to a parking. Cari helped to make this all possible and also helped him to feel more at ease and welcome to his new community. She also assisted with making the move go smoothly in a  very short timeframe. We definitely appreciate everything she has done.

My father-in-law lives in another state and was not ready for assisted living but wanted to downsize and move to an Independent living facility near us. We met with Cari who is amazing, caring and helpful. She did a FaceTime tour with him and was so thorough that by the end of the tour we decided we didn’t need to look anywhere else. Cari has been there every step of the way to answer questions and make us know we made the right decision. From the residents we spoke with to the great staff we are excited that we found the right place for our family member!
