Everyone at HCS was a great comfort to my family and I in my father's final days. They made him more comfortable than I was able to and they had so much more empathy than his PCP. I actually should have had him admitted to hospice sooner but they were very prompt and admitted him within a day of me calling. All of the nurses and aides were so kind and gentle with him and with me as well as it was very difficult for me to watch his decline. I'm so grateful for all of their help during such a horrible time.

HCS was a great help and comfort to me and my wife Adrienne when she needed hospice care.
Before hospice, HCS was on hand for PT and OT after Adrienne had her stroke. The PTs, Shana, Cayla, Tina, Craig, Joie, and Vanessa and the OTs, Samantha, Jim, Trish, and Joan all came and worked hard to help Adrienne with her physical recovery.
When Adrienne needed to be put on hospice and it became harder for me to manage her day to day care, HCS stepped in with weekly visits by a nurse, a home aide, and social worker. Home aides Amy, Leah, and Grace were wonderful when they came to bathe Adrienne and get her up for the day. They would always be kind and engage Adrienne in conversation as they worked on her. They always treated her with respect and dignity.
Nurses Elizabeth, Bobbi, Jackie, and Erika were all very friendly and professional when they came to see Adrienne. They were so knowledgeable and would explain to me what they were doing and why. And, when necessary, they would take great care to show me how to apply a treatment or give medication. I can’t say enough about how wonderful, caring, and respectful everyone who entered our house was. Having HCS available in this situation was comforting and made our lives so much easier. I don’t know what I would have done without HCS being there for us.
Sincerely, Michael Moorman

My father was discharged from rehab and the rehab said that he will need to keep up with the therapies he had at rehab. We got a call the next day saying they would give me a call with a schedule of when which therapist will come on which day. I get a call 2 days later asking how the therapist have been doing. Which I lost my temper and said I never got a call with a schedule and haven't had anyone show up. Then next day a nurse showed up and did small evaluation i guess but I told her what therapies the rehab wanted us to have so she put that down. It's been 5 days since she showed up so I called and asked what the deal was and I was told they don't schedule therapist like that. they have to call the day before to make sure it's OK for them to come for a session. Also my father's speech is the main issue and they do not have a speech therapist so I have to outsource for that.

This is something that I felt I had to write as this issue has deteriorated my mental health for over a year now. I also feared that I would get retaliated against for sharing this. I feel the need to write this review so others won't potentially get hurt by this clinic and therapist. Last year, I reached out to Home, Healthcare, Hospice, & Community Services because I was really worried in light of some information that I've seen on social media where my former therapist Rachel Kowalsky had possibly breached my client confidentiality. Rachel Kowalsky was a former therapist of mine whom I had not seen since I was 15-16 years old. I had her for just shy of two years. I remember my working relationship with Rachel always being very contentious. She was always very condescending, lacked empathy, and compassion. She was also frequently contentious with my Mother. Looking back at my working relationship with Rachel, her views on men was very concerning. She couldn't tell the difference between a typical teenage boy struggling how to deal with attraction to girls as opposed to someone who is genuinely a predator. Rachel never took the time to understand me and felt that all guys were predators. This was one of the many things my Mother fought Rachel on. I've always recalled Rachel being overzealous to almost a radical point about women's rights. Rachel had a very hard time understanding teenage boys. The way how she treated me was atrocious. She had a very arrogant an unprofessional attitude towards me and my family. I would not recommend men to Rachel.
Rachel has always had me blocked on social media. Rachel is a very active member of the hiking community here in New Hampshire. Last year I was having issues with an influential hiker within the hiking community that was quite public on social media. It has been brought to my attention that Rachel all of a sudden after 11 years stalked my social media profile and had possibly breached my client confidentiality with this influential hiker whom I was very close friends with. Looking at Rachel's Facebook page some of what she was writing about at the time was abnormal for a therapist. If Rachel is willing to post publicly her personal issues with her neighbor, then she would certainly breach a client's confidentiality if she did not like the client. I informed her former supervisor at the clinic where I was her client about my concerns given the circumstances about Rachel and what she was posting publicly on social media at the time. He was concerned as well. He wanted to reach out to Rachel on my behalf to protect my client confidentiality, but was prevented from doing so by his legal team because Rachel had not worked their in over a decade.
I felt the need to do whatever I could to protect my client confidentiality, so I decided to contact Rachel's supervisor at Home, Healthcare, Hospice, & Community Services. When I spoke with Rachel's supervisor she seemed understanding of my need to protect my client confidentiality. She suggested that I contact Rachel directly and if I had a hard time getting in touch with Rachel to call her back. I reached out to Rachel, told her what was going on, and if she would protect my client confidentiality. Less then 24 hours later without addressing my concerns Rachel blocks me. At that point, I knew she had something to hide. I called back Rachel's supervisor at HSC and left a voice mail. Her supervisor never called me back. This place does not seem to care whether or not a patient's confidentiality is protected. I filed a formal report to the state mental health board and in short they sent me a letter telling me they had no jurisdiction over her because Rachel is not a licensed therapist. This issue has compromised my quality of life and the state refusing to protect my client confidentiality is greatly concerning. This has made me feel less safe. I would highly recommend you avoid having Rachel Kowalsky as a therapist. She allows her personal views to cloud her from being a professional therapist.

I had been referred to Keene Home health by my Mom's insurance to help me care for her after some hospitalizations and general cancer related illness. Not only were we blown off more times than I can count, they came to get her blood three times and her doctor that ordered the results only got the results once. In addition, her blood was mislabeled and mishandled and we never saw those results, ever. After firing them over two weeks ago, the new agency is now not able to come see her because she was never taken off the active patient list. So now that she needs to be seen by her new provider, Keene Home Healthcare is STILL preventing her from getting the care she deserves. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for anything. They have made an already stressful time ever more so.
