I was assigned PT and nursing care after heart surgery.  I have only praise for Ven (PT) and Lynn and Odessa (nurses). All are cheerful, friendly, and skilled in their respective professions.  Questions are  encouraged.  Advice is spot on.  Ven painstakingly shows me the exercises first, then I perform them.  New exercises are introduced each week after Ven assures that I am proficient in the previous exercises. I am getting stronger and recovery after aerobic exercises is quicker.  I appreciate the care from Ven, Lynn and Odessa.

I am very pleased with the quality of physical and occupational therapy I received. Jocelyn and Rosie were wonderful. I always felt like I was respected and and they were both very easy to work with and to talk to. At times I had questions about my therapy and they were both more than happy to answer all my questions and share tips on how to maximize the benefit from the therapy I was receiving. I would not hesitate to recommend Amedisys to anyone needing in home care.

This is the fourth time I have been a client of Amedisys home health care. After my first experience, I have requested Amedisys every time I've needed home health care. The therapists are knowledgeable, caring and ready to educate as well as provide an excellent service. My team (Gladys and Jackie) kept me motivated to complete months of physical therapy. At one point I wasn't feeling well and called the 24/7 nurse line that Amedisys provides for their clients. She recommended that I go to an ER. I ended up in ICU that night and had heart surgery three weeks later. I believe she saved my life.
I highly recommend Amedisys.

This was my first experience with home health care and I was pleased with Amedisys'.
Most importantly was my PT, Ven!
He explained the process each time and encouraged my progress with safety being the most important goal towards my recovery.   Ven was patient, competent and educated me on the excercises and my progression.  I would highly recommend Ven and Amedisys Home Healthcare.
