I can’t thank Christina enough for everything she’s done for our family. She helped me hire my husband as my caregiver while we were waiting for IHSS, and she made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She texted me every single day to check in, followed up on every detail, and genuinely cared about helping us get the support we needed. You can tell she truly loves what she does , her kindness, patience, and dedication are incredible. I’ve never met someone so thoughtful and reliable. Terrible owner. They canceled on our client 30 mins before the shift and when I called and spoke to SAM he did not care. He told me instead of going back and forth with him I should call medi cal. This company Only cares about money not their clients. IN RESPONSE to “The facts” At no time did Krista care contact the client and inform him of the cancellation. The cancellation itself wasn’t the issue. It was the nasty attitude that Sam had when he took the call and didn’t care. Even if the client was unaware that his insurance had canceled, there should’ve still been more compassion and Care from the owner of the company. You’re comparing legal facts to common sense and common courtesy. You shouldn’t be writing a business if you don’t care about people. Again, would never recommend this company.
This medical care service represents SCAN Classic that my mom has for insurance. We can only use them for 10 days total 4 hours per visit. We schedule them sparingly. Have had no luck with any communication or follow up. Sam D. The owner does not know how rude and unpleasant Denisse is. When I get off the phone does not give me a sense of comfort. We needed them today Saturday April 19th from 12:30 to 4:30. Very frustrating especially after I booked them on March 17th one month ago. NO FOLLOW UP, FOLLOW THROUGH AND NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. I will be once again reporting them to SCAN medical services. My mom’s in Hospice Care now, but we were really looking forward to just 4 hours respite care. No such luck or importance given by anyone at this service. SAM D. the owner needs a better system. This was the third time I talk to you about your coordinating staff and your unorganized service.
Warning: Avoid Krista Care I want to warn others about Krista Care. My experience has been extremely negative, and I urge anyone seeking caregiving services to steer clear of this company. Unprofessional Staff:** The caregiver assigned to me was difficult to train, often ignored my instructions, and consistently debated simple tasks. Sanitary Issues:** One caregiver mishandled raw meat, didn’t believe in salmonella, and refused to use soap after touching raw chicken. She also tried to use her dirty tissues to clean my table and used my toilet scrubber on the bathroom counters, despite my clear objections. HIPAA Violations:** One caregiver put me on FaceTime with her friends for most of her first shift, talking about me in Arabic and saying, “They say you look cute”—which felt completely inappropriate. Inadequate Care:** Breaks exceeded two hours during shifts of only 4.5 hours, and there were consistent scheduling issues, including a no-show day and late arrivals. Property Damage:** Another caregiver clogged my garbage disposal by putting food scraps down the sink. This resulted in unexpected repair costs of over $400. The company claimed I knew about this beforehand and asserted it shouldn’t have cost more than $75 to fix. I even sent them the receipt and offered to have them hire someone, but I waited over 3 months with no update—there was absolutely no accountability. Dishonesty from Supervisors:** Supervisor Sam and caregiver Nisserean lied to Optum regarding my grievance report, further demonstrating the lack of accountability within this company. Overall, the help I received caused more stress than it alleviated, and I can’t afford the additional issues that have arisen. Please think twice before choosing this company. Your health and peace of mind are too important to risk!
I’ve been using Krista Care Care for about a year now to assist me in caring for my mother who has dementia. I’ve been very pleased with their services and their caregivers. The Operations Manager, responds to my calls quickly and has always come through for me, even on very short notice. I’ve worked with several different caregivers and they’ve all been experienced, reliable and, most importantly, caring and patient with my mother. I highly recommend Krista Care to anyone seeking a caregiver and I plan to continue using them for all of our home health aide needs.
