Since Ida began working with our family, she has provided exceptional care to my father that consistently exceeds our expectations. Her professional dedication is evident in everything she does, from assisting with daily needs to encouraging physical activity through workouts that have significantly improved my father's health and outlook. What sets Ida apart is her remarkable character and special touches. One quality we particularly cherish is her gift for humor—she brings lighthearted geriatric jokes about radically accepting what our bodies and minds do as we age. These moments of laughter create joy and connection that are invaluable to our family, especially my father. Her ability to use gentle humor around aging is truly therapeutic. Her faith and compassion create a healing presence in our home. She approaches her work not just as a job, but as a calling, bringing warmth, dignity, spiritual comfort, and much-needed laughter to my father and our entire family. We were very thankful to have First Light providing care to my mother. They worked hard to provide caregivers who were compatible with my mother and I found each one skilled, courteous and personable. I especially want to recognize Iesha, First Light’s scheduling coordinator. She is on the ball and great person to work with.

Working with Molly was an absolute pleasure. My mother recently was diagnosed with dementia and need to be placed in a memory care living situation, but we needed a small amount of home care during the transition. We were not sure what we would actually need, but Molly was supportive and accommodating through out the whole process. We needed a last minute caregiver on Thanksgiving and Molly was able to make that happen. She is just wonderful and an angel at heart! Thank you for all you have done for us!!!

Colleen Hagen and the staff at First Light have done an excellent job of supporting my family’s requirements as we needed care for my brother. Colleen has been very supportive, responsive and has gone above and beyond in ensuring my brother’s care needs have been met. The companion care staff have been very good and treat my brother with the dignity and humanity he deserves. FirstLight caregivers were amazing to my father-in-law. They were warm, engaging, and clearly cared for his very best interests.
