Synergy Home Care helped my Dad stay in his own home for the past few years of his life. The thoughtful and caring support he received from his caregiver, Steve often went ‘above & beyond’. A true friendship developed with Dad, to the benefit of all; we could always count on Steve when he visited Dad. We were blessed and grateful to have Steve & Synergy part of Dad’s in home care. If needed again, Synergy will be my first call.

My dad was put on hospice, and due to his wishes and the family's, we moved him back home from an assisted living facility. My mom needed help at least a couple of times throughout the day. We met with Mitch, the owner, and were instantly "wowed". From the time we started hospice, it took only 2 days to have a week's worth of care set up for my dad and we were able to move him home immediately. The team that came in each day was so compassionate. They cared not only for my dad's physical needs, but also for my mom's emotional needs. Although my mom wasn't the patient, the care team always made sure she was OK and getting rest or help. We loved everyone who came into my parent's home. One lady, in particular, her name is Musu, was extraordinary. She cared gently for my dad, listened to our family stories, and, on her last shift, the evening before my dad passed, she hugged and cried with my mom. Such a compassionate heart. My dad recently passed away, almost 3 weeks into hospice and care from Synergy. The next day my mom received a beautiful plant from Synergy with condolences for our family. I did the best I could but I made a lot of bad choices for mom and dad’s final care. I finally got it right when I trusted Mitch and his team at Synergy HomeCare of Golden Valley. Mom was not receiving the best of care in her memory care facility. I had thought about bringing in Synergy to supplement her cares but better decided to pull mom from the facility and move her into my home. In the facility mom was living in fear. You never know what you’re going to get when you bring a stranger into your home. I put my trust in Synergy HomeCare of Golden Valley and they did not fail. Suzanne walked in and was a perfect fit. Mom’s dementia was getting worse and she could remember faces but the names escaped her. Suzanne became 'that girl'. Mom looked forward to ‘that girl’ coming over to puzzle with her. It was pretty intense for me taking care of mom. Suzanne was exactly what I needed so I could get away for a break. I never worried that mom was not in good hands. The last week of mom’s life Suzanne cleared her schedule to be here when I needed her help. I will be forever grateful to Suzanne, Mitch and the Synergy team.
