Highly recommend! Excellent personal care, dependable and professional. My sister and I needed help caring for our Mom as she progressed into the final stages of dementia in 2021. We both had full time jobs/family and needed someone with mom at night. Home Helpers was highly recommended to me from several previous clients in the Greer area. Lisa Cox met with us, and together we planned mom's care. The caregivers were very loving and cared for our mom as if she was a member of their family. I was very impressed with the communication between the staff and our family. Even when mom went on Hospice Care, Home Helpers helped us. They worked along side our Hospice team to make sure mom was taken care of (as well as us). During this time, I retired from my 30+ year nursing career so I could spend more time with my mom and take care of all of her needs (not just medical care) . After mom passed I felt the need to go back to work....but I didn't feel led to return to the hospital. After much prayer I discussed my thoughts with a dear friend...she suggested I contact Home Helpers...now, I am a very proud employee! I am part of this amazing team! I train our caregivers in all aspects of personal care, nutrition, as well as the use of medical equipment and client/caregiver safety. I'm able to consult with families who have concerns/questions about care and give them guidance/recommendations.

Wanted to let you know that I was so at peace with Becky and her staff keeping my mom during her time of need when I could not be there they came to the house and talked with us and answered all of our questions and concerns they really felt like family the first time. During the evening is when the staff would come to stay and help her during her nighttime routine and habits that was needed. Always coming to help at the last minute. Home Helpers has been a blessing. I wish we had found them sooner. My husband is disabled needing a lot of assistance all the aides are well trained to handle every situation that arises and truly care about him personally by giving him respect, dignity, and compassion we all deserve as we age.
