RIGHT AT HOME

We engaged Right At Home Las Vegas to provide care for our elderly parents who lived there without nearby family. The service was paused while they both were in a rehab facility. The day before my mother was to come home, I was in Las Vegas and visited the Right At Home office to agree a care schedule for her. They wrote the schedule by hand and gave it to me. The next morning, a few hours before my mother was due home from the facility, the owner contacted me to say they would be cancelling the service. Apparently Right At Home didn't appreciate our health care advocate, whom we had hired to look after our parents' needs, asking them too many questions -- so they spitefully left a sick and vulnerable old lady without care on short notice. Luckily we were able to find another provider. Following this, Right At Home agreed we had fully paid for all previous service and that they would return our deposit. To date, in spite of numerous requests over nine months including one from an attorney, they have failed to return our deposit and we will soon be filing a court claim. Based on our experience, we consider Right At Home to be untrustworthy and unreliable. We would not recommend them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! The company stole money from me. I used this company for about 10 months to provide caregiver service for my mom who has Alzheimer's. I canceled a shift 48hrs ahead of time and was still charged for it. The owner refused to take my phone calls or return emails, and did not refund the money. After this incident, I canceled the service. I gave two weeks notice but did not receive my refund back as the contract states I would. This was about 3 months ago. I am now in the process of taking the company to small claims court. Caregivers were mediocre at best. Most just did the bare minimum and did not try to make a connection or improve my mom's quality of life. They watched TV all day, ignored her when she tried to talk to them, and refused to do any activities with her like taking her to the park or for ice cream. When I asked the company to provide me with a different caregiver they told me they didn't have anyone else.

Two years ago, my mother suffered a stroke and could not live alone. We moved her into our home, but could not be with her 24-7, so we tried personal care assistants. Right At Home Las Vegas has been by far the best care for my mother. They carefully try to match a caregiver to the client's personality and needs. Best call we ever made!

This review is about the service that Right At Home provided for my mother. We live on the East Coast and Mom lived alone in Las Vegas. Due to medical complications, we found ourselves in need of a sitter/buddy service to be with Mom while she spent many months in various hospitals/assisted living facilities. Someone to act as her companion, nurse caller, hand holder, tear-wiper, hair brusher, etc. What we received from Steve, Louise and the team at RAH was all of that and SO MUCH MORE. The sitters themselves are amazing people, but couple that with the incredible care and compassion from the inside team and you have an amazing company that I will recommend for as long as I am able to. I'm not sure if there is a higher compliment than to say that RAH saved my mother's life, but that is exactly what they did. We are eternally grateful to these amazing people who are doing incredibly important work.

I was very pleased with the staff and their service. They were very easy to work with, prompt and willing to help in any way that they could. I had to arrange care for a relative living in another state and they made it so easy for me. I would definitely recommend them.
