I recently used the caregiver service provided by Synergy Homecare of Manhattan Beach (SHoMB) for post-surgical care. On a short notice Mr. Thompson, President/CEO of SHoMB, arranged for the service and even sent his staff to the hospital before I was discharged. As several reviews have stated, Mr. Thompson's flexibility in adjusting the caregiver's schedule based on the client's medical/personal needs is exceptional. He is pleasant and very easy to work with. I wish SHoMB the very best and continued success in providing this much needed service.

Synergy Homecare is absolutely wonderful!! I had serous concerns about the wellbeing of my older brother who has a terminal brain disorder. I needed home care for him very quickly. I was referred to Synergy by a visiting nurse company. I called them on a Tuesday, and they did a home assessment, brought possible candidates for introduction to my brother, and had a schedule in place by Saturday. Not only did they get a schedule together quickly, but the owner, Ollo, completely calmed me and assured me that we had called the correct service provider now. He told me that his staff is there to support me and give kind, reliable, companionable support for my brother who isn't able to speak well and has limited physical mobility. I had called a provider before and for two weeks we waited for a person to show up for any of the three days per week we had scheduled. Then I called Synergy. They have NEVER let me down once. Each time I have a need for care, I call them and their response is always "yes". After the owner, Ollo, says "yes", I no longer have to worry if my request will be honored. Ollo will show up to do the work himself if someone in his staff has a conflict. Ollo also checks up on his care givers while they are on the job. Sometimes he shows up to observe how the client and staff member are interacting to make sure the match is good for all involved. This service will work with you as your needs change, when the unexpected occurs, or you find yourself in a sudden bind. They will work with you to provide custom, immediate support. When I called Synergy HomeCare and Ollo answered the phone, my heart stopped racing and my mind stopped panicking. He told me how his organization works and I learned that with Synergy, I have a whole team in my corner backing me up any time I ask. Ollo and his staff have been the answer to my prayers. And to reiterate.....they ALWAYS keep their schedule without excuses. During these pandemic times where COVID is a built in excuse for every cancellation, this is a priceless attribute.
