Comfort Keepers

My mother has used Comfort Keepers for six years. Comfort Keepers matched the right caregiver to Mom and her needs. She has been very pleased with the caregivers that Comfort Keepers has sent. She was very happy with caregiver Joan Crawford. Joan was an excellent caregiver and companion to her. They played games, laughed a lot, and sat on the porch so Mom could get fresh air and watch the neighbors. I would recommend Comfort Keepers to others who need caregivers and companions.

I have Comfort Keepers come twice a week to give me a break from caring for my mom, who has dementia. Mom can be a lot to handle, much as I love her. The two young ladies that work with mom are wonderfully patient, they joke with her to break the tension when she is being challenging, and are able to coax her to do things that she won't do for me. Mom loves to walk and boy do the young ladies get their steps in! She was in a particularly difficult mood one day, greeting her CC caretaker with "and what are YOU doing here?!?!?" Frances replied: I came to see your pretty face, Mrs. White!" Mom glared at her for a minute and said, "well are you coming??" And off they went on their first of many walks that day (and getting invited on a walk is high praise). I was able to leave knowing mom would be in caring hands. The CC ladies also do light chores around the house - often adding in things that aren't on my little list - just because they saw it needed to be done. The office staff is wonderfully caring and patient, too, with this caregiver who on occasion has been at her wits end. Confort Keepers has been a Godsend!!

Comfort Keepers was a lifesaver. I had a 2-week International trip coming up and I thought I would have to cancel it because of needing care for my elderly mother. After calling another agency who was less than helpful, I called Comfort Keepers and spoke to Jamie (the owner). Jamie was kind, compassionate and professional and walked me through some options. We came up with a plan that was within my budget and flexible. The caregivers were all dependable and respectful. I definitely recommend Comfort Keepers whether you need a long-term or short-term need.

The person assigned to me was outstanding. Was totally professional and willing to do everything I requested. She was upbeat and quick study on appliances, etc. I enjoyed her company and the services she offered. I would absolutely reach out to Comfort Keepers again if the need arises.

I first met with Jamie, the owner, who was pleasant and professional. She noted services I anticipated. Her intake nurse, Jennifer, met at my home, took a thorough history, articulated and individualized my care need requests. My care needs were short term, post knee replacement. The caregivers were prompt, pleasant and professional. Jamie and her admin team were prompt to inform me of a scheduling change with caregivers. A few caregivers took shortcuts with house chores but made an attempt to satisfy request needs in time allotted. They were willing to perform any task, just needed direction; I simply had to kindly ask and caregivers would handle anything. If there were any concerns, it was.easy to email Jamie who readily addressed my concern and followed through with a reply. Overall, I was satisfied with services. Whatever your care needs, Comfort Keepers will meet your needs.
