We were so pleased with the care our mother received. We chose this company because they were family owned, rather than corporate, and the difference was night and day! Previously, we had used corporate companies. Unfortunately, the day before Lifestar started with Mother, she sustained a fall (while with the hospice aide), Mother's care changed dramatically and unexpectedly on the day before the caregiver started! Everything they were prepared for was changed over night! How people respond when life throws a curveball tells a lot about their character. Matt personally checked on the caregiver to assess her level of comfort with the completely changed environment and the caregiver, although unfamiliar with the new set of needs and care, jumped right in to help. Matt also made sure that I had regular contact, "taking my temperature" as we all made adjustments. I couldn't have done it without Mother's caregiver being such a great team player and a kind and gentle presence in the home. I know she was outside of her comfort zone, but she never flinched from helping, and was confident enough to communicate what she was not prepared to do. A true professional. My mother truly needed a team with a moral, ethical, and work-ethic compass that pointed due north, and that is what she got.

I applied two weeks and I called a few times to check on my background, all I get is still working on it she seems so rude about it.. please don’t waste your time and doing the cpr and tb test like I did …

Matt Rogers and his team at Lifestar were amazing! I called and they were able to get me help with my great grandfather the same night! They were very understanding and helpful in the process! Sharon was our aide and she was amazing! Britney was also a rockstar! Thank you again to the whole team for being professional and efficient in helping my family through this difficult time.

Matt and his team lead with compassion and are dedicated to providing excellent care. They do things the right way, for the right reasons and take time to match the right caregiver with a client. Matt is honest and experienced and really cares about serving clients well. I can't recommend them highly enough!
