JOYFUL COMPANIONS HOME CARE

When my sister suggested we enlist Joyful Companions to visit our mother, I thought "What a great idea and concept!".We knew that mom was lonely and as working family members we could not be with her everyday. Either Ashley or Michelle of Joyful Companions would come visit twice a week and at the end of the visit write a summary and post it for the family members to read. They discussed many topics with her, many of which would be difficult for family members to bring up. Whether it be conversation or lead her in a prayer, it was all very comforting to our mother. I highly recommend the services of Joyful Companions for your loved ones!

I highly recommend Joyful Companions. The two people who visited our mom each week made an enormous difference. Mom looked forward to their visits and enjoyed the time with Michele and Ashley. She always had fun and interesting stories to share after the visits. Joyful Companions made our mom happier and more content and for that I am grateful!

We enlisted the help of JOYFUL COMPANIONS when our 95 year old mother rather suddenly moved to a senior living center from out of state. Her eye sight had deteriorated, could no longer drive and none of us kids live close by. The joyful companions take mom to appointments, help her shop, write cards and address envelopes, and help improve her mood. They have been a huge reason the senior living center is working out well for our mom and is a great relief to us kids that she has people who will be a friend to her on a regular basis. Mom loves the time she spends with her joyful companions and we love the positive change in her attitude. Joyful Companions is a perfect name! Every caregiver has given joy to my mom - and to all of her children by knowing she is well cared for. My mom has received care from Joyful Companions for over 8 years. While there have been occasional changes in staffing, there has NEVER been a change in the quality of care provided. Every caregiver has been/is patient, kind, dedicated and devoted to serving my mom and meeting her needs. In addition to the individual caregivers, Joyful Companions’ social worker (Sarah) has provided critical support and guidance as we navigate my mom’s changing needs. I truly do not know what we would do without Joyful Companions and the services and support they provide. They have become part of our extended family and provided invaluable peace of mind for our entire family. Thank you Joyful Companions for all you do.

I am fairly new to Joyful Companions and I love this company. The staff is truly amazing! They are very accessible at any time, they encourage you to be in communication with them if any questions or concerns arise. They are extremely hands on, very professional, respectful, and they care about their employees as well as their clients. I love that Joyful Companions is a non-medical home care provider and that their focus is on providing companionship. It is such a privelage to meet with our clients to bring them joy, companionship, and help with any non-medical needs such as transportation, light cleaning, fun outings, etc. I also love that Joyful Companions is a faith-based company and that they recognize their employees in so many positive ways. They plan outings throughout the year in order to bring everyone together which shows how much they value their employees. I can't say enough about the company and the staff. For anyone looking to become a care giver or anyone looking for companionship for their loved ones, I would definitely refer them to Joyful Companions.
