Assisting Hands Home Care

I have used Assisting Hands for the last 2 months while recovering from surgery. I am the primary caregiver for my mother who is in hospice care. I have been on weight restrictions and unable to fully care for mom. Enter Stacey Jarrett from Assisting Hands and she has been providing the best possible care for mom. Mom has responded well to Stacey and even sings with her. We will forever consider Stacey to be a part of our family!

We so appreciated the wonderful service Assisting Hands Home Care provided for my Mother-in-law when my husband and I went out of town. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were there caring for her. My Mother-in-law loved the home care workers that came out to her hous. Not only did they do tasks for her but kept her company. They genuinely cared how she was doing and what they could do to make her more comfortable. We would highly recommend them!

My husband and I want to thank Assisting Hands of Rockford and Xen our caregiver from Assisting Hands. He has gone above and beyond in helping Steve, who cannot use his hands at all and has real difficulty walking due to chemical exposures from Gulf War and having been a firefighter for several years. Xen's kindness and thoughtfulness touches our hearts everyday. A gifted artist and a photographer, pours out his compassion to people around him by working as a caregiver. We know he could be doing many other things, but we are so grateful he has chosen to give of himself by helping people like Steve through Assisting Hands. I truly thank Father God for him everyday in my prayers. I am also grateful for all the kindness shown by Assisting Hands office people like Jen and Bri ( and Wanda - who has retired). I have tried working with other caregiver agencies, but Assisting Hands has been the best agency to work with. An absolute 5 star agency. Thank you again everyone at Assisting Hands and especially Xen for being there for us when we are in need of such compassion and understanding and so much physical help as well. God bless you. To whom it may concern, I have been with Assisting Hands for over six months now and have had several caregivers during that time. Andrea visits me three or four times a week. She is always on time, takes the initiative to do things around the house, and is a thorough caregiver for me. She has a fun, charismatic, and compassionate personality. Susan O always does an outstanding job. She comes in with a smile and sets to work making my father’s home clean and making sure he has meals and any assistance he requires. It’s always a pleasure to have her here. She really represents the ideals of Assisting Hands.
