They took the time to understand my mother’s and the family’s needs and provided caregivers who were an absolutely perfect fit for my mother, who is not always the easiest. My mother quickly came to view Elizabeth as her friend who quickly earned our mother's trust and was a wonderful companion. Elizabeth truly understood how to best support and gently manage our mother. Esther was also wonderful with our mother, always keeping her busy and engaged in doing things that she enjoyed. Both Elizabeth and Esther went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable and cared for, and their dedication made a real difference. I truly appreciate their professionalism and compassion and would highly recommend the agency and both caregivers to anyone in need of exceptional care for an aging parent.

I received excellent service from SmithLife Homecare. I needed 24-hour care following a medical procedure along with transportation. The caregivers —Aissata during the daytime and Tigist overnight — were professional and caring. I really felt i was in good hands. SmithLife Homecare was a great help to me when I needed to get my 84-year old mom to and from a doctor appointment. All the team members were super-responsive, extremely helpful and reassuring. The employee who actually picked up my mom and drove her was prompt, warm and friendly, and made my mom feel completely at ease. It was a great service, and I'll definitely be using them again.

We had an older family member coming in town for a wedding and worked with SmithLife to make sure she had a professional caregiver for several days while in the area. From initial contact through my family member's departure from DC, our experience with SmithLife was top notch. We worked with Carla to make sure SmithLife could provide appropriate care, and the caregiver assigned to assist my family member - Theresa - could not have been nicer. We also appreciated that our relative had the same caregiver consistently during her stay, someone who got to know her and was able to provide excellent care.
