In January of 1982, former geriatric counselor Jean Griswold received bitter news. Her husband, Presbyterian minister Dr. Lincoln Griswold informed her that an elderly woman in their parish had died because she could not nd someone to help her with daily activities. Troubled by the news, Jean pressed for details. She learned that without support, the woman had stopped eating and drinking and eventually passed away from kidney failure. Jean was deeply saddened by what she felt was an easily preventable tragedy. She was driven to act. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1969, Jean understood the importance of getting help in whatever capacity was necessary. Within days of receiving the news, she had assembled a group of competent, caring individuals to help other older parishioners stay safe and healthy in their homes. Armed with a master’s in education and degrees in business and economics, Jean realized she could extend her vision beyond her parish. Calling to check on elderly parishioners from her kitchen table became the seed of her life’s work: a national organization recognized as one of the oldest home care companies and one of the rst to offer 24-hour care to disabled, elderly, or at-risk individuals. Griswold Today 30 years later, Griswold Home Care has helped hundreds of thousands of seniors live independently in the place they love: home. With more than 200 locations throughout the United States, Griswold refers and hires over 10,000 caregivers per year. Since its foundation, Griswold Home Care has received dozens of industry and community awards and has grown to become one of the nation’s leading home care companies. In recognition of this continuing service commitment, Griswold Home Care has been proled in Forbes, Success and Entrepreneur magazines as well as on NBC’s Today Show, as one of the nation's top in home care companies. Jean Griswold has personally received numerous regional and national awards and honors for her outstanding service and remarkable achievements in the eld of home care for elders.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Cristina at Griswold Care Pairing. From the very beginning she has treated me like family and has gone above and beyond to help me through every obstacle of finding the right care. She has been patient, kind, understanding, and so supportive during a time when I truly needed guidance.
Cristina is the reason I have confidence and peace of mind with this company. She communicates so well, she listens, she cares deeply, and she always makes sure everything is handled the right way. She is the perfect example of what real compassion and professionalism look like.
I have worked with many companies before and nobody has ever made me feel as supported as Cristina has. She deserves every bit of recognition because she is the heart of this process and the reason families like mine feel safe and cared for.
Cristina is truly a blessing to my family!
I felt that Cristina from the Griswold staff is personable and very attentive to my concerns she always responded to them in a timely manner which made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. Caregiver Marilyn was a top worker very personable, hardworking, supportive and attentive as well. Overall my experience was very positive and I would highly recommend Griswold care pairing for greater Orlando to others.
In 2017 I was assigned the task of finding in home care for my friend who was diagnosed with cancer. Her husband was hospitalized in Tampa at the time and unable to help with the search. After interviewing multiple agencies Griswold was chosen and I am forever grateful. Since I live in another state and unable to be in Florida full time it was a peace and blessing to have a full time live in lady to help with her care (along with other caregivers) until she passed away.
When the time came for the husband to come home and I now having legal authority to find in home care for him, I did not hesitate to contact Herm again for help. Once again the right person was placed in the home for 24 hour care. From the very beginning the wonderful care he has been receiving has provided better health, less hospital and emergency room visits and has more nutritious meals prepared not to mention allowing him to live at home and enjoy as much independence as he is able to do. I would highly recommend Griswold to be given every opportunity for caring for your loved ones.I might also add the staff has never failed to call if there was a need or problem and have been super helpful when I needed help or had questions. Thanks for all you do to care for others.

Griswold has helped our family twice now. Once 5 years ago, as our Dad's Alzheimers advanced, then just a month ago as our Mom entered into Hospice, also requiring 24/7 care. We as a family cannot put into words how tremendous the assistance was to us. It took a huge weight off our shoulders, and the care was phenomenal. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend Griswold's services.
Griswold Care has done everything they promised and more. Thier office staff are excellent. The home care aid we have is outstanding and listens to all our needs.
