My father was admitted to Unique Hospice after an 8 month battle with cancer. From the first call to the final call, the entire agency was kind, compassionate, empathetic, and thorough. My father’s symptoms were always managed and he was able to pass peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Maria, RN, Juliette LVN, Gina, Earl, Cassandra, Jennifer, and all of the office team were exceptional. Each staff spent as much time as my family needed and never made us feel like we were burdening them. Choosing a hospice for your loved one is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. As a Medicare Broker and Principal of my agency, I see way more than I should. Many "care" facilities and "hospice" providers are more like broken ATM's than care facilities. My experience with Unique Hospice over the four months my grandmother was under their care has been nothing short of exceptional. The knowledge exhibited by their nursing team was evident in every aspect of my grandmother's treatment. Their expertise provided comfort and assurance, making a challenging time more manageable. The home health aides at Unique Hospice deserve special recognition for their unwavering compassion. They went above and beyond, not only attending to my grandmother's physical needs but also offering emotional support. Their caring and empathetic approach created a comforting environment that made a significant impact on my grandmother's well-being. The level of respect shown by the entire staff at Unique Hospice was remarkable. Every interaction, whether in person or over the phone, was conducted with the utmost dignity. Calling the office was always met with an immediate response from skilled nurses, highlighting their dedication to prompt and attentive service. The rapid response time, even during weekends for urgent visits, further underscored their commitment to patient care.

Recently had a family member placed under hospice care with this company. It was a new experience, so didn't really know what to expect. For the most part things went well, when we needed items to be replenished they did so with a bit of pushback at times but we received them promptly nonetheless. The care from the home health aide and LVN were for the most part great, no complaints there! Thorough and helpful by nature. One concern was the RN that made it a habit on more then one occasion to have my family member clean out their own ostomy bag even though my family member was bed bound and would not be able to properly clean their hands afterwards. I will be reporting said nurse to the appropriate agency. Only other disappointment was after my family members passing, no real attempt was made by their counselor or staff to help with the grieving process which seemed like such a harsh disconnection.

I cannot express enough gratitude for Unique Hospice during the last few months of my father's life. Initially under a different hospice recommended by his doctor, we faced a distressing situation with insufficient pain management and unreliable support. Discovering our right to transfer hospice care, I diligently researched and chose Unique Hospice. The difference was remarkable. Their compassionate team not only effectively managed my father's pain but also consistently showed up when needed.
