By far the worst experience I have ever had in the health care industry. No one returns a phone call in a timely manner. Took them over two weeks to tell me they would no longer take him as a patient because we had to change insurance. They don’t accept patients that haven’t met their deductible, regardless if they can pay. That’s two weeks wasted, while he didn’t have home health help. Save yourself the time and energy. Go somewhere else.

Our mom absolutely loves her nurse. She has received absolutely wonderful care. If our family needs homecare again, we will only use Apex.

Apex was great up until the week my mother passed away. They are great for HH but for my first hospice experience I was left frustrated and confused in that last week.

⭐☆☆☆☆ As a business owner and healthcare professional, I can hardly remember the last time I wrote a negative review. However, this situation demands it. This is not just about poor service—this is about advocacy, and I am deeply passionate about standing up for patients with severe, unmet needs. I am appalled by how APEX Health Services—particularly “Christy”—handled the discharge of a patient with complex Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and multiple life-threatening medical conditions. Despite being impoverished, unable to drive, and living alone with no family support, she was told she had “met baseline care” and was advised to seek private nursing services. That is not only unrealistic—it’s inhumane. This woman has survived unspeakable trauma, has 19 alters, and cycles into fugue states where she cannot eat, medicate, or care for herself. Though incredibly intelligent in her Host self, her daily functioning is deeply impacted by her condition. She previously cared for two profoundly disabled children who have since passed away—an experience that deeply affected her own long-term health. I’ve seen patients with far less complexity receive consistent home health visits. APEX’s decision reflects a lack of trauma-informed care and compassion. Policies should not override basic human decency. I have since contacted her doctor to request referral to another agency—one better equipped to care for high-needs patients with heart and understanding. Please think twice before trusting APEX with the care of anyone who has complex medical or mental health conditions. Vulnerable patients deserve better (This message was approved by the patient to send as she cannot advocate for herself).

Was referred to this company due to my old home health doesn't take my Medicare replacement insurance, this company does. I waited and waited for call from either company, I finally called this one. They said yes they got a referral, no they can't take me because they do not work with the former company due to bad blood in past. No phone calls from either letting me know
