Worst experience, I wish I never met these people. Promises that are never made by sales people that have no clue, at least she didn’t. Nurses are rude and know it all. Nurse Margie even came recommended but she was very rude and condescending. Thank god for the facility nurses and staff. Their boss, Ashley, she should be taught what compassion really is. Same as the nurse, rude and condescending. I can’t believe she is their leader. Lee is amazing, best chaplain I’ve met. Anyway, anyone doing business with them should stop, facilities stay away. Families stay away.

We had heard horror hospice stories from other friends who used other companies, but we were so grateful for Alamo Hospice. They responded super quickly and Judy our administrator was kind and efficient. The on-call nurse Bret was amazing. My father's situation deteriorated very quickly and it would have been truly horrible if not for Bret who responded to every single call I made within 3 minutes. The equipment they provided (bed, wheelchair etc..) was also of much better quality than our friends experienced. The Chaplain was also very supportive of my mother after my father's death. We feel so lucky to have been referred to Alamo Hospice by our palliative care nurse.

We could not be more pleased with the care my mother is receiving. What a blessing to have Cate as her nurse. She is in tune with Mother’s needs and works in concert with the nursing home staff to provide excellent comfort care. Stacy is a great social worker and listened intently to and asked pertinent questions so that she could provide support to our family as well as any needs Mother may have. Lee is the epitome of what a hospice chaplain should be. He visits with Mother, prays with her and reads scripture-this speaks directly to her heart. As a whole, Alamo is focused on quality of life for the time remaining. How blessed we are to have each and every member of Alamo on our care team.

Worst experience. If I could give no stars I would! My father was extremely neglected by the staff. Nurse was supposed to come out 3 times a week. We only saw them 3 times throughout the month. When we called and needed something for my dad they wouldn't make it a priority. They wanted to get back to us 2 days later. No bedside manner whatsoever. We expressed concerns about my dad's urine in his Foley bag and nurse said they weren't there to help or cure him because he's gonna go soon. She said that to him. She even kicked his bag with her foot when she was looking at his urine. Turns out it was a bladder infection because they refused to remove the Foley even after it was bleeding. And told us to buy regular ibuprofen for the swelling and pain. They didn't supply any supplies. Supposed to make patients comfortable right? But never were concerned with my dad's pain. Thankfully we found another place that will better suit my dad's needs and are willing to help. If you want your family member to be treated with respect, dignity and not be neglected please do not bring them here. They don't care.

**For those who WANT a fighting chance this place is NOT IT** I feel like all these good reviews are just reviews from the staff. My dad is a current hospice patient under their care and they do not have compassion or empathy for him or our family. The nurses come in talking about “there’s nothing they can do for him because he’s gonna go soon”…words said in front of my dad. Before this place he said he wanted to fight and be here with us and he was doing it but now he’s starting to give up thanks to Alamo hospice. I wish the reviews were honest because it was my job to pick a place for him to help him and instead we get ugly horrible words. If my dad goes this is my fault for choosing the wrong place based off the reviews. Thanks Alamo for nothing but pain sadness and hurtful words. Thanks to yall my dad isn’t fighting as hard as he was.
