They are so good with dad. We needed a lot of help as my husband and I were wearing ourselves out! Now he gets showers twice a week, shaved, nails cut, potty supplies, liners, gloves and anything else he needs. Such an answer to prayer.

We had my Father on Serenity Hospice and they where so good with him. Now Serenity Hospice where the first ones I thought of when my Mom needed services. They have been there for any questions and needs we have. Helping Mom have a easier time now that her health is failing. Serenity's team is making it so much easier to keep Mom home where she wants to be. I can't say enough for all they do. Thank you Serenity Hospice team

Serenity Hospice is a godsend to me during this time of transition! Their knowledge and understanding of dementia has been soothing and provided me with such a relief ! They answer answer questions you didn’t even know you had.! For me, it was like walking into a Hallmark store, opening a card and reading the words that touched my heart and soul because their knowledge and understanding is amazing! The care they are providing to my aunt is wonderful! She connected with them right away! As I live in a different state that meant more to me than anything!

I was with Serenity for more than 8 months. I had some very nice workers but the nurses kept getting replaced. The last nurse was not helpful to me and extremely rude to my wife. Some of these healthcare workers act like they are entitled to nothing but High praise and absolute obedience. I always tell my wife what I don't like or need and she has worked tirelessly to have my care improved. At the beginning Serenity made her work over time just enforcing my wishes that she be notified in advance of medication changes, nurse visits, and any discussions of my care plan. Although I put it in writing at the beginning it was ignored for several months. Unfortunately many health care workers have targeted my wife as a way of deflecting blame from themselves. It also is my impression that if you live a long time on hospice, meaning longer than a few months, that the interest diminishes in your welfare. That was not true of Serenity in my opinion until this new nurse, but it isn't a nice feeling. Finally my wife spent hours talking to a social worker when we did the intake procedure and it turned out she never heard from this woman because that woman doesn't work in our area. It was a total waste. In fact when I was getting substandard care in my assisted living, my wife asked for some support from Serenity and the director told her in snotty way to find a different care home. I am telling all this so that families considering the hospice system will have more information about what to expect and what pitfalls to avoid.

Serenity Hospice was an amazing source of consistent caring help for my mother-in-law. Beginning through to her passing they were faithfully involved throughout…what a relief for our family to know that she was so well taken care of throughout such challenging times. I highly recommend Serenity Hospice and their highly qualified team of nurses and staff!
