Job Title: Direct Care Worker Location: 19143 Zip Code Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 11 AM Pay rate: $16.00 Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide support for our client who requires assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). This position is a vital part of our client's daily routine and involves ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Assist with IADLs such as: - Meal preparation and planning - Medication management - Transportation to appointments or errands - Light housekeeping tasks - Grocery shopping and running errands Provide support with ADLs, including: - Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing) - Mobility assistance (walking, transferring) - Meal assistance (eating) - Toileting and incontinence care Qualifications: - Previous experience as a caregiver is required. - Must pass a criminal background check. - A current PPD (Tuberculosis) test is necessary. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.
