The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications to patients and maintaining related medical records. They must be able to perform various tasks such as: Distributing medication to patients and maintaining medical records. Observing and reporting any changes in the patient's condition or adverse effects of the medications. Assisting patients with daily tasks like eating, dressing, and bathing. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Ensuring compliance with facility protocols and procedures. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Upholding health and safety standards. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent attention to detail, exceptional patient care skills, and a strong understanding of medical ethics and confidentiality. They should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
