Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
We are hiring an HCA registered caregivers to work 1:1 with senior and veteran clients in their homes in the Fountain Valley and Irvine areas. Duties include: - ADL support including showering, toileting, grooming, dressing assistance - 1:1 in-home client caregiving using memory care related experience and skills - Transfer assistance and mobility safety supervision - Basic meal prep/cooking and kitchen clean-up after meals - Medication reminders - Companionship and light exercise support - Some clients need transportation to appointments and grocery store - Experience with dementia is a plus Requirements: - HCA/Per ID Registration in CA (we can assist for the right candidate) - Strong communication skills, reliability, patience and a passion for supporting seniors and their loved ones - Valid driver's license or ID -1 year or more caregiving experience - Reliable transportation - Ability to pass Live Scan Fingerprinting and Background Check Benefits: - Paid training - Flexible schedule - Paid sick time - Aflac supplemental insurance options We value our caregivers and offer direct communication with Acti-Kare of Irvine Area Director/Owner, partner in supporting our client's needs, and first caregiver visit with a new client is supported in-person by Area Director/Owner.
