Compassionate Care Giver

Our locally owned Home Care Agency is looking for bright and compassionate individuals to join our team of professional caregivers. You would provide in-home care, one-on-one companionship for the elderly and veterans. Looking for HCA licensed and experienced caregivers. We will assist with licensing if needed. Wages range depending on experience and duties of job. Responsibilities: -Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.) -Assist clients with personal care and hygiene -Help clients with physical therapy exercises -Help clients with prescribed medication reminders -Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) -Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop (depending on client) -Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own -Be a pleasant and supportive companion -Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Homecare experience: -Knowledge of ADL’s and IADL’s -Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints -Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards -Respectful and compassionate -Good time management skills -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills -Strong ethics -California Home Care Aide registration -TB test -Live Scan background check Hourly: $20.00 to $23.00 /hour Job Type: Part-time, Full-Time, Per Diem Positions are available for immediately hire.
