Registered Nurse for Adult Daycare

Winter Growth, a local non-profit, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team for the Adult Day Program from Mondays to Fridays, 9 am-3:30 pm NO WEEKENDS. Winter Growth’s mission is to foster community by empowering seniors to live their best lives. We do this by listening and creating an environment for connections. Experience in LTSS is a plus. Looking for a nurse who has strong computer skills. Nurses will work with an interdisciplinary team whose goal is to support our clients in achieving their highest potential for independence, dignity, and life satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Initial and ongoing assessments of all daycare participants • Supervise and support certified nursing assistants and medication technician(s). • Ensuring all staff comply with safety protocols for lifting, bending and using Hoyer lifts • Act as liaison as needed to communicate between families, physicians and other health care professionals to assure optimum care for clients. • Monitor clients for insidious and/or obvious health issues. Notify physicians and families as appropriate. • Take charge in the event of a medical emergency.
