I visited my friend today that just came to the facility. I felt the layout was very nice. Clean. I saw friendly staff. Once I got to my friend’s room I felt it needed a fresh coat of paint and updating however. The hallway did have the odor of urine which surprised me. I know it’s hard to avoid that. My friend told me she had a rough start there. She was put in a room and the next shift was not informed so she didn’t get any help for hours. No food or medication. No one checked in on her until she called her family to tell them what happened. After that was corrected she has been ok, but her medication schedule has not been what she needs since she is a diabetic. But pt has her moving. She is motivated to get her strength back to get home. There are many areas to sit and enjoy the view. Many areas to have family and friends visit if you want to visit outside of the patients room. It’s located on a very quiet road around the city of alliance. Very shady and well maintained. Im glad my friend is on her road to recovery.

All staff are all super caring with my grandmother, all of the other residents, and with me and my family. Communication is great! There is always staff with the residents in the community area at all times watching over them and stimulating them with conversations and games. They always have music or movies playing for the residents to enjoy. Food was good and facility was well secured which is important and always have staff at the front door 24/7. Always have no doubt my grandma is under the best care. The admissions coordinator Molly is the most caring and it is a pleasure working with her - she answers every question I have (which is a lot) and walked me through the difficult nursing home process. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a loved one who needs extra care! The facility is a little dated but the care is the unconditional!

My brother in law, shares a room the tv hang on the wall side by side. They share a dresser, I do his laundry his clothes are still coming up missing along with his bed sheets. I go ever 2 weeks on a Saturday, the room his filthy the bathroom is filthy. I used to have Clorox wipes describe down the bathroom. There was bow on the walls. The floor there was urine on the floor. I asked and that went by for someone to clean it up and she said that she don’t do that, but she could get me Clorox wipes, a nurse come by and said she would get someone to clean it up and then they went home early so I got all my hands and knees got everything cleaned. I cleaned his bedroom moved his bed. It was filthy underneath their scrub everything down when I moved him in there was a recliner , I asked about it. No one knew I moved in from Karen and Wadsworth. I left behind a lazy boy recliner that I purchased for him because they said there was no room For it at the new place. Come to find out the person that was there previously passed away and it was their recliner. I asked today April 13, 2014. If they would please remove that dirty brown recliner out of the room because there’s no room in there and they said they would have it removed. My brother-in-law‘s been there for four months. I am looking for a new nursing home for him to move to, this place is horrible

Altercare has been caring for my mother for over a year and the staff has been exceptional. They communicate with me on all of her health concerns. Each and every staff member has exhibited a kind and caring manner. There is a small town feel to their facility and a personal touch with loved ones. A big "thank you" to everyone at Altercare for giving me peace of mind!

I am sick and tired of the way these nurses and aids act, talk to, and treat my grandma; she is exhausted with it. Treated horribly by these God awful employees. I've told the nurses themselves who already cuss at my grandma and myself to act appropriately. I'm going to contact the state now, my efforts with this hell holes higher ups has been exhausted. I hope their licensing to care for the elderly gets taken.
