My mother was transferred from Nebraska to this nursing home in beliefs that she will be properly taken care of and was there no longer than 3 weeks before the hospital had her removed due to elderly neglect, bug infestation and the fact that my mother had a condition where she needed to be properly watched while she was walking, bathing or anything that meant standing on her own to which they did not follow and as a result of that, she had fallen 3 times and was hospitalized twice in just that short time that she was there. I do not recommend putting a loved one at this location. They do have a severe infestation problem with roaches I had even brought it to the nursing staff attention after I killed one in the bathroom and two crawling up my mother's wall
This is the worse place. There are bugs all over the place!!!! It smells horrible!!! The residents are thrown in multiple layers of diapers because staff does not want to change them so the layer up diapers. I found my loved one in 3 diapers and multiple pads during the day!!! I was told by my loved one the nurses/cnas do not care half are asleep all night and the other half are on the phone all night and get angry when they need to assist!!! The picture shows a worker sleeping the whole 1.5 hours I was there!!!!!Please please please listen when I say put your loved ones anywhere else!!! I am reporting it to the state of Colorado tonight!!!!
Clean and smells wonderful. Whenever you visit there is always staff cleaning. Residents look like they're having fun.
Such a wonderful little facility. Every staff member is cheerful and welcoming. They always have smiles on their faces and are eager to help. The facility is clean and I have never walked in and smelled any odors. Everyone there have such big hearts! I would definitely recommend this facility!
I called and texted DON yesterday and today (9/18) ; inquired my parent’s missing food delivery; DON hasn’t replied ! Very frustrating, University Heights changes DON constantly and very hard for families to know who’s responsible for f/u residents complaints… ☹️☹️☹️ Today is 9/23/24 I texted both DON and Director of admissions to f/u my parents Costco food delivery again; still no reply? Not sure how this facility run? Totally ignored residents’ family’s concerns??? Very very frustrating! ☹️☹️☹️😣😣😣
