The staff at Westgate are amazing. They provide the best dementia care in the whole area. They are kind, calm and respectrul of the dignity of every resident in their care. They always made me feel welcome and appreciated when I visited my husband there. It was a blessing that he was able to go to Westgate when i could no longer care for him. Words cannot express how grateful I am for their dedication and hard work. Five stars aren't enough for these angels of mercy.
This was my first visit at Westgate. My brother is an Alzheimer’s patient and resident. Overall, my experience was very positive. The first thing I noticed was that the center looked and smelled very clean. My brother seemed comfortable and well taken care of. The workers were pleasant and efficient. I felt at peace having my loved one here.
In April 2024, my father was a patient at Westgate for rehab following surgery. My father and I were very happy with the care he received during his 12 day stay. The staff were caring and very attentive to his needs . Physical, occupational and speech therapy worked with my father to prepare him to go home safely. Social services were fantastic and organized an array of rehab services for home care to continue the progress he made at Westgate. I would recommend Westgate for anyone who needs rehab therapy.
My visit was excellent with my mom. The staff is worthy of the 5 star rating. Thank- You so much. As many times I have been there I have seen the best care of your clients with heart felt care.
My sister has been at Westgate for about 18 minutes, and there’s no place I would rather have her because of the staff. They are so wonderful — So kind, knowledgeable and dedicated. The facility is an old nursing home which is being nicely freshened up. However it still has limitations in terms of space and amenities that facilities built specifically for people with dementia should have. I must say I am amazed at how much a great staff can make up for those limitations.
