As a concerned family member looking for a safe and caring rehabilitation center for my loved one, I was hesitant after seeing the one-star reviews. However, after speaking with Andre in the Admissions Department, my concerns were met with professionalism, empathy, and transparency. Andre had a great attitude and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He acknowledged the past issues and explained that the facility is now under new administration, with a new staff committed to turning things around. His voice was both delightful and reassuring, firm, yet caring. It was clear that he takes the responsibility of patient care seriously, no matter what the reviews may have said. I told him I felt led to call and speak with him, it truly felt like divine guidance. As a businessperson myself, I know the importance of being given a chance to earn trust, and I believe Andre and his team deserve that same opportunity. I’m very pleased with his demeanor and optimistic outlook on the facility’s future. Based on our conversation alone, I felt compelled to leave a 5 star review.

I'm currently a resident at Oak Knoll and when I tell you disappointed is an understatement. For example, right now as matter of fact on Feb.13 2025 at 4:36p.m. my light for assistance has been on for a little over 2 and 1/2 hours. Still no one has come to my room to see what it is I need. I've gotten into several arguments with several staff members because they feel entitled to speak to residents any type of way and I'm NOT going let anyone disrespect me. So when I actually stick up for myself or my roommate, I'm made out to be the bad guy. I have wounds currently on my bottom, and I have to wear adult Diapers for the time being, then they should be changed in a timely manner but again this is not happening either. So my wounds are not getting any better because of this. They're actually going to get worse. I've been here since August of 24 and I've reached a point where I don't know who to get in touch with to fix this issue. And there's sooo much more going on. I'm just bringing a few things that's actually happening now. I just want these "nurses" and "CNA's" to do this without being mad or unhappy because they don't feel like being here for whatever the reason. Each and everyone knows what they signed up for working this type of job. And if they don't like the work then please go else where. As a resident who almost died back in April of 24, I honestly just want peace. I want to be able to feel comfortable with the people who I'm suppose to rely to take care of me. There are certain handful of people that actually care and do their job. But everyone else finds short cuts or excuses to be lazy. Changes are needed desperately and I'm here to speak up for the ones who can't. I hope the right people see this. The two stars are for the people not necessarily for the facility as a whole.

I drove to Oak Knoll to see my mother, I stay out of town. I called there first. The lady at the front desk was very rude and nasty to me. If she talked to me rude and nasty. I just can't imagine how she treats the elderly. While there visiting my mom 10min.someone comes in the room and asks me how much longer was I going to be there.Wow. Because she needed to bath her and the other lady in the room. Wow I'm going to try to find another place for my mother.
