I can't speak highly enough about the care and compassion shown at West Suburban Health and Rehab. From the moment we arrived, the staff made both our family, and our loved one feel supported, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. The nursing team is attentive, knowledgeable, and always approachable—they go above and beyond to ensure every need is met. The therapists are equally impressive, providing personalized and effective rehab that helped our loved one make noticeable progress. Communication has been excellent throughout the stay, and we always felt well-informed about care plans and goals. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, home-like atmosphere. You can tell the staff take pride in their work and truly care about their residents' well-being—not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well. We are so grateful for the peace of mind West Suburban has given us. I highly recommend this facility to any family looking for skilled, compassionate, and professional care in the Bloomington area.

I have been a patient at this facility for the past 3 months. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly impressed I am on how everything is ran. The staff has opened their arms to me since day one, and has truly shown concern on my well being. The staff members are very prompt, when it comes to me eating, getting showers, and most importantly my medications. The lady who runs the facility, her name is Brenda, she definitely runs a fine oiled operation. She not only runs the facility, but she takes time to go around, and talk to all of the residents to see how they are feeling. My grandmother was accepted into West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and let me tell you—we had such an amazing experience. The staff members were incredibly kind and caring toward my grandma. Her physical and occupational therapy team was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and creates a truly comforting environment. I’m so glad my grandma chose this place. We’re definitely sharing our positive experience with everyone!

This place is pretty crowded and a bit run-down. However, the staff is incredible. They are very dedicated, professional, and knowledgeable people. They have worked hard on my relative’s rehab after a major stroke. They also have their own staff and do not use agency employees. For a Medicaid facility, it would be tough to find better.

My grandmother received care at this facility after a right hip fracture. The staff were attentive, kind and provided quality clinical care . The nursing staff ensured she felt safe, and provided assistance promptly in her time of need. The management takes all measures to ensure the patient’s needs are met and the admission and discharge process is done professionally. My grandmother discharged home after working with the amazing therapy team. She is now independent and back to living a quality life . I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done to help during my grandmother’s time of need.
