BUCKINGHAM VALLEY REHABILITATION AND NURSINGCENTER

I visited my father in-law multiple times at the Buckingham Rehab. The staff were always available to talk to, very friendly and accommodating to my father in laws changing needs. The facility has lots of comfortable areas to sit a visit with your loved one. Parking, hours and access are very good as well. I would recommend this facility.

When I come to visit my father, I notice a lot of things are made very convenient at this facility. Parking, checking in and out as a visitor, finding staff to speak with, all easy! The nurses take time to listen, and relay things to the provider when appropriate. Thank you! I really feel that my dad is safe and thriving right now. They are also accommodating for special occasions. My father continues to be impressed that they clean his room every single day. Also, my father loves the food. If I had to think of anything we “need”, I would just request that more chairs be available for visitors to sit in. Other than that, everything has been great here at Buckingham. Thank you.

My aunt was there for Rehab on her knee. They did a great job of getting her walking again. She is very stubborn person but they didn't give up on her. I would highly recommend Buckingham for anyone who is in need of getting Rehab. The nurse are very friendly and rooms are very clean

Everyone was helpful when needed and respectful of the moment,even when they were busy. My sister had lost her phone or had left it laying on her food tray . Was very upset. Went to front desk to report ( Ann Marie) was very helpful and did have 2 ,one being ours. Thank her for being kind to take time out of her busy schedule to help us . And to those who were honest to bring to someone attention. My sister has been there a couple weeks now ,and taking therapy for a fractured pelvic, I appreciate your staff, don't have the names but they handle persons with care and it's not a easy job. Thank you for the care of good people to care for persons of need. A smile goes a long way . ☺️ and a good heart. Jackie

My mother was a resident at Buckingham, the nursing staff and aides, dietitian, people at the front desk, pt and ot, maintenance, activity employees were always willing to help and talk to me. No place is perfect, there were some challenges with certain staff. The Nurse practitioners were available to me to discuss my mother’s health. My suggestion to improving the facility is making the doctors available, which for the most part non existent for her time at Buckingham which was over 1.5 years. Another suggestion is focus on better quality food to help the residents thrive and not just give them below quality food that can contribute to poor health and outcomes. I did feel comfortable that my mother was safe at the facility, however there were times that I needed to repeatedly ask for certain things to be done. Perhaps increase staffing and have a better evaluation of hiring appropriate staff for this type of environment that requires empathy and good work ethic.
