I like the variety of personnel at Madeira and the combination of their humor, witt and professionalism. I received Excellent care here. My Doctor was amazed at how quickly and well I am healing, partially credited to my Physical and Occupational therapists here. My needs were addressed. Brian, the heartbeat behind the maintenance in the building, is always ready to fix, help and make it to all work with a smile. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I have been in several rehab facilities and Madeira Healthcare Center is the best by far! It's clean and safe and they care. The food is good and they have an amazing therapy team here. The concierge and the staff here are incredible. I would send my family members here and I hope you do as well.

There’s so many good and questionable things about this location. I had my grandma placed here after she was released from the hospital from having shoulder surgery. The facility itself is clean, updated and several different areas to move around to including a movie room, bar area, dining room, cafe room, upcoming salon, physical therapy room, etc. She said the staff that visited her were kind depending on the shift and the day. I met several of them and they always seemed nice while doing the best they can for how many were in their care. The downside was that my grandma was not getting better here, unfortunately. She only got up once or twice a day for physical therapy, but when we sat in to see what they were doing with her for therapy - it was a waste of time. The therapy was not productive and it lasted less than 10-15 minutes before being returned to her room. She would call and alert for assistance because they didn’t want her getting up for the bathroom alone, and required her to use a wheel chair. They would then leave her to do her business for often 15-20 minutes and she just had to wait until someone came back for her. I’ve visited everyday she was there and for whatever reason they never would flush the toilet after or clean anything up. She was living off of ensure and not eating solid food to the point she was losing weight. I would secure her help button remote to her bed and she would tell me they undo it. She’s had instances where it’s fallen on the floor in the night and when she needs assistance, she can’t reach the remote to call for help. With that being said, she wore mostly diapers while here and didn’t recieve a shower as often as she probably should have. They did maintain her medication schedule, but due to her lack of nutrition, he brought up other complications. They did also refill her ice bin that maintained the sleeve on her shoulder to be cold once or twice a day. She recieved visitors from our family 3-4 times a day so we always made sure she was okay, but ultimately, we had to bring her home sooner than planned. By being here, she could no longer walk on her own from being left in bed and she had no reason to eat since she wasn’t burning it off. When we brought her home, she regained the strength to walk, her appetite, her mood and had a great physical therapist for her shoulder recovery. She’s healthy again and getting back to her normal. This place isn’t awful, but I would more so recommend it for someone who needs to be in a rehab that is under the age of 65. My grandma is 87 and sometimes we were a little unsure of her care.
