This is the worst Nursing Facility I've Ever seen. The Employees are very lazy. They won't even answer the telephone. Or when they answer they will switch your calls and they will keep transferring your calls. The screens in the windows are worn out. I went to visit a friend. The toilet was Sooo dirty. I even took pictures of this place. They need to fix it up or close it down. Again I got pictures of this place you won't believe.

Mountain Crest is not a nursing facility of any kind. It's a place where people who don't care, love or want to be bothered by their family members so they just dump them there and walk away. My youngest brother who is only 48 yrs old was diagnosed with vascular dementia. There was no physical therapy or occupational therapy no memory care unit for patients with dementia. When I went to visit my brother for the first time at this facility I was completely flabbergasted I was completely confusing I didn't know staff from patients.I had called the facility in the evening time and it rang off the hook so I called back and a man answered the phone I asked him was he a nurse or a aide he stated neither one I heard the phone ringing so I answered it ARE YOU KIDDING ME WHAT IF IT WAS AN EMERGENCY come on. I did meet the young man that is training to be an administrator and I also briefly spoke to the social worker who promised me that she would call me so we could get the process started to transfer my brother back across state line because she didn't know how to do it and I'M STILL WAITING FOR HER CALL !!! But now we're so happy that he was transferred to a different facility closer to home now where they specialize in dementia care and the therapy he needs. And most importantly his children can come and spend time with their Daddy and not be scared of their surroundings. Sincerely Yours The Maish Family

My mom receives skilled nursing care here. I placed her here in a state of desperation, as I am her only surviving family member and have carried the burden of all of her needs. When I chose Mountain Crest, I didn't choose it because it's the most beautiful place in the world. It isn't. It doesn't have fancy walls, fancy flooring, or fancy patios. I chose it because of the staff. Every staff member here has been beyond helpful, caring, and kind - not only to my mom, but to me. They work hard, they keep things calm and peaceful. They also know when it is necessary to be unkind. Let me explain. My mom is in the dementia building, and with dementia patients, there is a high risk for a lot of accidents and accidental self harm. The team is very keyed in on these needs, and they know when a firm voice is needed in order to cut through the "dementia haze" and get a patient's attention. Many people will witness this and come online to write a negative review, but the reality is, dementia patients occasionally need a loud, strong, and firm voice in order to keep them safe. The staff are not only attentive, but are very good and switching into and out of that sort of "drill sergeant" mode in order to keep patients safe. When my mom came here, she was unable to leave her wheelchair. She looked as if she'd aged twenty years in a week, and she could barely remember any details of her life. On my most recent visit, she was smiling, had made friends, and was even getting up and using her walker to get around! She also looked about twenty years younger. It doesn't have the prettiest walls, but it's run by some gorgeous people who know what they're doing. I would highly recommend them if you have a family member with skilled nursing needs.

This is the most disgusting, unsafe place I have ever seen. When trying to move my relative they would not seen the paperwork resulting in getting denied. He is stuck there and there is nothing I can do about it. I have called the state and they are investigating .
