Facility recently got new management and has been thriving! It’s long term care so government help isn’t great but staff does the best they can with what they have. Nurses and aides are friendly and helpful, new activities director is providing many new things for residents to do. New wound nurse and infection prevention program to keep things sanitary, therapy is so helpful and kind, social services answered all my questions. The food is decent and more snacks are being provided. As far as affordable long term care goes, can’t get much better than this.
My son has been in this facility for about 8 months. This place is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. My sons health has rapidly declined since being here. Always short staffed. Staff is rude and hateful. It's very obvious that they do not like their job and don't want to be there. Rude to my son and my family. On Saturday after dinner we had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come to take my brother from his wheel chair to bed. They were not happy about it and not nice. Tammy is very Rude. He had no clothes,socks or blanket in his room. Jill was kind on Sunday. Answered questions and is kind and compassionate.
This is the worst place my brother has ever been. If I could give lower score than 1 . I would.. They are 100 % neglectful. 100% rude. Not helpful,not caring... Smells horrible. My brother had to wait 45 minutes to get transferred from wheel chair to bed. When they finally came they were not NICE... They acted like he was a bother to them
Talked horribly to him. I hope none of these employees ever have to put one of their Loved ones in a horrible place like this . I would not recommend this facility to anyone.on top of everything else none of his medical needs are being met.
The residents see staff and their faces light up. Staff pay extra attention to the residents needs and stays on top of those needs. Some staff plays cards with residents and do manicures with them and sometimes they join in on the Bingo games helping those who need extra help . Columbia Manor is truly an environment where it feels like everyone is family .
Columbia Manor is a place where you feel at home!! Residents greet family and staff with amazing smiles! Residents love to talk about the activities they do, making memories with the friends they have made with each other.
