A neighbor's husband was here for rehab, and the required rehab didn't happen. The first day I took her to visit him, he had been there for about 5 days. The room was so drab and dreary and he did not look happy. They did not have him shower or change his bed up to that day. She said he had on the same clothes as the day he was admitted, and clean clothes were brought in with him. I went to ask for a water pitcher and all they provide is foam cups. He drank the large cup of ice water immediately. I got it refilled and asked for a second cup. He drank both immediately again. He was extremely thirsty due to no water being provided for the whole day, or longer. I left him with 2 full cups to get by on. My neighbor said there were clothes and things on top of his dresser that were left from the prior patient. The caulk in the shower was old and dried up. I saw a washcloth on the sink and was horribly shocked. It was dried up, black and green and very dirty and smelly. We need an option for a negative 5 rotten apples score. This place is ugly, old, musty, smelly, dirty, lack of maintenance, very uncared for, and has old heating/cooling for the rooms. The last card left on the table by a housekeeper was dated 3 weeks ago. It's a horrible place for a skilled care patient who most likely can't speak for themselves While we were there, multiple room alerts were going off for a very long time, also at the nurse station, and no one was around taking care of them. At a different station when we were entering there were 3 women in dark scrubs behind a station laughing and talking loudly, while there was a patient in a room asking for help out loud, and there were multiple room alerts going off. I was only there twice and this is how much was observed. Who knows how much more, or how much worse it is each day? This place needs to be inspected FAST. It's a very sad place.

Another horrible place. Came for physical therapy and they wrote to jobs and family service that I was there permanently. Now I need emergency housing. Food is terrible. Never changed my bed. Walls caving in where the ac/heaters are. Nurses and most staff are lazy, verbally abusive. Call lights stay on all night.they don't collect the food trays so they are put anywhere in the halls. We have smoke breaks and my cigarettes are always missing but some have theirs on them and they never get in trouble. I have mine delivered so I know how many I have at all times. I've caught staff stealing cigarettes and one dropped them out of her pocket and had my name on them! Most aids are verbally abusive and think they don't have to do anything for you if they don't like you. Some at night won't get you ice, or anything else. Nurses say.. That's not my job ask the aid. Then when I complained to the State all of a sudden the say they are sending me to a drug test rehab lock down. I ended up at momentous and it's a little better but still as bad

My mother has been at Copley Health Center for about a year and a half. When she first got there, it was for rehab and it was all bad. It has gotten better now that she is on the side of long-term care. There is an aid that works from 10 to 6 who is verbally abusive to my mother in the middle of the night. I have a camera in the room. She told me she’s been there 33 years and not going anywhere. She more or less runs that hall at night. Be careful where you place your people. It just may be a nightmare. I have called the Ombudsman , and the Director of the facility I talk to the Ombudsman the Director usually calls me back , but from Monday to Friday I got no call. Housekeeping is poor very poor. Please check on your people. They have gotten better you just have to stay connected and communicated with them but that night facility Aide that is not good for the facility at all. She thinks that they are her children and she treats them like that and there’s nothing they can do. I’m just glad I had a camera and I saw. You may see her on 19 action news or channel 5. Soon

BED BUG INFESTATION! They never clean my grandmothers room or change her bedding to notice that there are bed bugs until my family noticed the bugs in her bed ! She is in pain and covered in bites. Do not send your loved ones here! Its disgusting and the staff is rude to the patients and visitors! Its very unsanitary, it smells so bad in the halls and rooms. It's hard to enjoy visiting a loved one when it smells like urine etc and the door alarm is constantly ringing loudly. The food is terrible ! They dont give the residents much of a option to choose from. They dont give my grandmother a choice at all actually! I have to order her food and bring her food. For the amount of money she pays it’s crazy that she’s stuck in a small corner of a room behind a curtain sharing a room with a roomate. She deserves privacy and more space ! They never clean her room and they let her roommate sit in her filth it’s so sad! I can’t stay for long because i can’t handle all the awful smells and it’s stuffy in there. The “nurses” stand around in the halls or at the desk gossiping. When I politely asked for a cup of ice for my grandmother they acted bothered about it rolling their eyes and just stood there. The white woman on night shift that happen to hear me that was down the hall not even at the desk standing around like the others infront of me, was the only nice one and was helpful. They're so lazy with no compassion they won't take my grandma outside when it’s nice out. They have her thinking she’s not allowed to leave her room. The residents all say they maswell be in prison and they hate it there. If you have a loved one here please get them out of here and don’t send them here! I'm trying to have her moved to a better place until I can have her move in with me.

Visited a relative. Heard bad reviews but he was quite amazed at his care. Food was decent portions and aids and nursing was very good. Clean rooms. As well I saw good care each day. I came each day for 10 days. Coffee cold a couple days and 1 angry aid he viewed while outside on a smoke day. He vapes. She probley shouldn't be there but they know who she is. All in all ...good.
