The team at Sandy Lake is honestly so kind and welcoming and they show genuine care for the residents and the guests. The activities director Grace is amazing. She organizes fun events, makes sure everybody is included, and is always respectful towards others. I admire her dedication to her job and it's so clear that she loves what she does. That really makes all the difference in creating the warm and uplifting environment that many residents can call their home. Because of staff like her, Sandy Lake feels more like a community than just a facility.
My mother is currently in this facility and 99% of the staff are phenomenal (Doctors, Nurses, CNAs, Therapists, Intake, Management and Front desk)!! Who my mother and I would really like to point out though is Linda. She gives care to my mother like her own family. Her mood is always upbeat and she is so passionate about her people. She doesn't complain about anything. And always does exactly what she says she's going to do. Rebecca at the front desk gave me the initial tour and she was the primary reason why i chose Sandy Lake. The staff can relate and they understand! They don't take care, they give it! I highly recommend this place.
UPDATE - And please don't let me forget Belinda. She's amazing!! She's consistent, extremely sweet and gives such good care.
The staff at Sandy Lake are friendly and attentive to the residents and visitors. Grace, the activities director, does a tremendous amount of planning and work to make sure residents feel cared for and included. She is respectful, attentive, creative, and caring to all of the residents. Grace takes time to plan interactive, stimulating, and interesting activities to improve the physical, social, and mental well being of each resident (e.g. bowling, baking, exercises, dancing, drawing and coloring, trivia, bingo, ping pong and more). I appreciate and respect the work of Grace and the rest of the staff at Sandy Lake.
Sandy Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center has so many Great people working there. A few people that stand out to me are Grace Ezenwa who does a wonderful job scheduling activities for the residents and helping attend to their needs, she really cares about each and every one of them. Patti the business Manager is always ready to help with any need or question you may have. The rest of the staff and nurses are caring attentive people that care about the residents needs, medications and care. I would recommend Sandy Lake to anyone needing their services. I am adding a few more names to the list of the Stars that work at Sandy Lake Rehab Care, Kim and Linda are two very caring Employees that go far beyond what is expected of them. They both treat the patients like family and both Excel in what they do every day ! Thank you for all you do !!!
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire team here. The admin staff always make everyone feel welcome with their warmth and care—their kindness truly sets the tone for the whole facility.
Special thanks to Nurse Juwana, who has gone above and beyond in caring for my cousin. Even after stepping into her new role as a wound care nurse, she still checks in every morning to ensure my cousin is comfortable and well looked after. Her dedication, compassion, and professionalism have made a real difference.
I also want to recognize Keisha, the evening charge nurse, whose attentiveness and gentle approach have brought us so much peace of mind. It’s comforting to know my cousin is in such capable, caring hands around the clock.
