I am so pleased with the care my family member is receiving at Daytona Health and Rehab. All the staff are compassionate, caring, and kind. The nurses and CNAs have taken amazing care of my loved one during her end of life. Her skin remained intact no wounds. The staff administered medication on time and even through the night to help with pain. They all showed knowledge of my loved one. The facility is clean and free of odors. I will recommend this facility to anyone needing care for their loved one.

Updated review: 10/8/2025 I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing community and had hoped everything goes well. So far, some of the staff here is pretty good specially Hector who was the admissions coordinator and goes above and beyond to help people who are struggling and going through a difficult situation. Hector is very well spoken but no longer works there. After years of struggling but facing challenges nonetheless honestly though positive at first it quickly changed & once I saw what really happens behind closed doors and what this place is versus how they portray themselves. My honest opinion about Daytona Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center is that they are one of the very few places in this area even all around Volusia county which does aggressive false advertisement and in reality they treat patients and staff unfairly not like a family or community members like they claim . please please stay away from them for God’s sake and your own. Unless you have no other choice. this is the worst place & read all the paperwork they ask you to sign before you are considered another for profit case. Verbal grievances or complaints or passing the blame to someone else should not have happened at all. Basic human decency and respect is lacking. Underpaid or disgruntled workers, frustrated people and poor lack of service along with inadequate services of employees on shift and other people providing services was hard to overcome . While I did meet a lot of good patients and staff. Management is totally lacking expertise and empathy. Everything is on camera but not monitored 24/7 as per staff and other patients . After reporting major safety concerns and incidents that occurred to myself and others I had to make the tough decision to discharge my self so I don’t end getting more seizures and end up in the emergency room every 2 days. I went in on oct 1st and once the tipping point was reached I left on the 7th. On the 3 after the second seizure and fall, it took 30 mins of lack of communication and decision making by staff members involved to call 911. My date of birth was incorrect inspite of my requests from day 1 among other things. Sorry this is not what I signed up for. I don’t want to get into any more specifics or drama because in life I learned the hard way that for profit agencies only care about you if you bring in money. They lie through their teeth and pretend to care. It’s sad that in 2025, this can still happen! May Hector be happy wherever he goes and hadn’t been treated the way NHS did after 9 months of hardwork. No one knows who is above Lori the administrator and the information of corporate or higher ups. Every error is blamed on someone else and there is no accountability even though there are cameras everywhere. Just sad and unnecessary. I hope I don’t ever have to go back to put up with all the stress, drama and lies. The services provided are excellent and affordable. The work ethic is not very good and they are not very knowledgeable or professional. Hector was a good staff member who worked hard to make sure everyone is happy and well taken care of. It’s hard to find someone who is honest and trustworthy as well as experienced in this field but still has a lot of empathy and compassion. Though I was under the impression that everyone I met at this facility is very kind but I learned the truth after 7 days. The stuff no one tells you about. This post might be deleted soon but I don’t care anymore. May God bless you all and guide you always. Hector helped me overcome a lot of challenges and was very supportive throughout the whole process but the pressure was too much and he just quit. I am sad and pray for all who were here or are now or will be here for the future. Thank you for everything. If you know you know. Google their real reviews. The citations, the patient complaints and even lawyers in town. Since when this business was opened and till now they have become one of the worst places for senior citizens and law abiding citizens like me. I am disappointed

My experience from A to Z has been amazing. Hector M. Has exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond with patience answering every single question at all hours of the day and night. He helped coordinate transferring my uncle from FL to NY. The facility was a transfer from a nightmare facility. My uncle is so happy at the facility. The staff are friendly and caring. Hector always answered the phone, always called back, and always responded to the transfer facility promptly. He reviewed options for insurance for optimal care. I have nothing but good things to say!
