DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. There's a few good nurses and CNA'S here, but the way my mother was released with no notice is awful! Also, when I needed to talk to a nurse on the weekend regarding my mom's care, the receptionist would only put me thru to the nurses station. The phone rang a good 15 times and then you get hung up on. No way to leave a message and the weekend receptionist is quite rude. My mom will never return to this facility.

I visited a friend staying at the rehab section of this facility. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the smell of urine. The 2nd was the helpfulness and politeness of the reception staff member. The facility once past reception looked pretty dismal…kind of rundown. There were a few people sitting wheelchairs in the hall, and a few in what looked like possibly in a social area. When I got to my fiend’s room it was tiny and sparse. There were marks on the wall and marks on the floor. It didn’t smell, but was just very dingy. To be honest I was kind of concerned. I ask her how was her care, and she said the 1st day she was pretty unhappy, but afterwards she felt she was getting good care. I told her that was what was most important. While visiting I heard this beeping for several minutes followed by a man repeatedly calling out he had to go to the bathroom. No one was coming to help him so I went into the hall and told him I would go find someone for him. I went to nursing station as a staff member was no where to be seen as I walked down the hall. I told the nurse (or CNA) at the desk he was calling out for help to use the restroom. Her look expressed to me she wasn’t happy, but she did follow me to help him. I am not a patient there (or a resident) so I can only speak to my experience while visiting. I know I would not want to be there, and would never let a loved one go there if I had the power to stop it.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Beach Street Health & Rehabilitation Center for the incredible care they’ve provided to my father. Everyone we’ve encountered has shown genuine compassion and professionalism, making a challenging time feel a little easier for our family. I especially want to highlight Shayna, who has been nothing short of amazing. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile have not gone unnoticed. She’s been a constant source of support, always attentive and ready to help with a warm smile. It’s clear she truly cares about the well-being of the people she works with. Sarah, Kimberly, Tania & Ella have also been wonderful - always kind, attentive, and ready to help. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done.

Have to wait long time for that resident to get clean up. And have to wait to long to get the resident out and return to bed. But the CA or good when they come. No schedule on PT. Never.know who the CA are. Of course the food could be better. Sorry 😞
