GLENWOOD HEALTH CENTER BY HARBORVIEW

My Brother has been living here for almost 6 months. At first I wanted to move him closer to me. (I'm an hour and half away.) But after seeing how good he is taken care of I just can't move him. He is always clean, his face is shaved, nails are clean and clipped and he is happy. He actually has a shoe on his left foot and he hasn't wore a shoe on that foot for about 8 years!! His foot is healed and looks so good!! I cannot believe how good he looks now. Yes, the home could use some improvements but I have never smelled a nasty or dirty smell any time I visit. I want to five a big shout out to Miss Turquoise for taking the time to let me know when he needs anything! She is precious! Thank you to ALL the staff for taking care of all our loved ones.

Glenwood Health Center has made noticeable improvements recently. The building is cleaner, more organized, and the staff communication has gotten much better. They are now Joint Commission Certified, which shows their commitment to quality care and safety. The overall environment feels more positive, and you can clearly see the progress they’ve made. Glenwood is definitely moving in the right direction.

If I could give 10 stars, I totally would no hesitation! I've been here for five amazing years, and let me tell you, it's been nothing short of fantastic. The leadership? Always on top of making sure patients are happy and healthy. My nurses? Absolute rockstars who treat me like royalty. And the whole staff? They don’t just care for me, they genuinely like hanging out with me! There's never a dull moment; we laugh, we chat, we have a blast. This place is more than care, it's community, and I love it here!

I recently did a fire alarm inspection here and I must say my experience this time with Michael Boyd the maintenance director was beyond pleasant. Every patient knew who he was... he was sociable with every one of them and you genuinely saw the love and respect he was given. That speaks volumes about his character and it blew my mind to see someone with the amount of dedication he shows in what he does for that place. I was here previous times for repairs and it didn't quite feel as warm as this visit. I believe in giving credit where it's due and he deserves great praise! He is a prime example of what a maintenance director should be and I hope Glenwood Health Center knows what they have in him as an employee!
