I have serious concerns regarding this community and the lack of professionalism and secrecy. I have a friend who's family member resides here, they would not provide when their Resident and Family Council Meetings are held. When I pressed them and ask if they had a calendar, they said it was not on there. When I asked the woman's name, she said Maria and when asked for a last name, I was told that I did not need it. Given that Resident and Family Councils are a requirement, I am not sure why she could not provide this information.

This place has a lot to offer—subacute trach care, physical and occupational therapy, and more. They even have private rooms, which is a big plus. The front area looks great after the recent updates, and the kitchen has a solid Grade A rating. Overall, it’s a well-rounded care facility.

My Great Aunt is currently placed here to die. The staff isn't friendly. They tell lies about the well-being of your love one and refuse to help you with their well being. This company is about money and lies. If you want your close or love ones to pass away quickly, be held stage, then come here. They're not a friendly, honest or nice in person or over the phone! When you call, they put you on hold for 20 to 30 minutes before cutting your line off!

MY GRANDPA WAS PRACTICALLY LEFT TO DIE HERE. My grandpa was transferred over to this care center after his conditions stabilized at the hospital. During the time of transfer, he was aware of his surroundings, lively, and overall doing very well. But after 2 weeks of staying at this facility, his conditions progressively worsened. These past few days, we’ve noticed that he was no longer eating and was more lethargic than usual. I’ve pointed this out to the nurses, and they told me: “we’ll monitor his condition to the best of our ability, and if we feel like he needs further medical care, we’ll send him to the hospital.” LAST NIGHT, I called to request my grandpa to be immediately transferred to a hospital because he looked very I’ll when we came to visit him. When notifying the nurse, they told me he was “sleeping” and that it was “nothing to worry about”. After several phone calls, I was transferred to speak with an EXTREMELY rude supervisor who HUNG UP on me several times regarding the health and well-being of their patient. Her disrespect only translates over to how they care for their patients. They simply do not. EASTLAND ONLY LEAVES THEIR PATIENTS TO DIE. Several hours after my grandpa was transferred to higher medical care at a hospital, they immediately ordered a blood transfusion to be done. A BLOOD TRANSFUSION. The doctor at the hospital was stunned, saying that if my grandpa had been transferred here any later, he would’ve not been with us anymore. Hearing the news, I tried reaching back out to Eastland to tell them of the situation, but they “do not honor complaints,” quoted the supervisor. Not only were they neglecting their patients, but also brushing away responsibilities as a care facility.
