My 88 year old mother stayed for 2 weeks during her rehab after falling and fracturing her hip. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my requests, food service was good, and the outdoor space was fantastic for taking mom on wheelchair walks. Like all places - it is understaffed- so family members need to be there to support and care for their loved ones. I also appreciated the family room as I was able to work while being close to mom. The residences were very friendly and the open living tv space was nice. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is the smell and shared rooms. Recommend bringing a room plug-in 😊
Terrible, neglectful and the staff is terribly rude and uncaring. Loved one almost died before they did anything would not recommend for my dead animal. It's a horrible place
Staff don't seem to care for the clients staying at the center. Unfriendly staff and Doctors. Only send people that you hate here. My wife grandmother was sitting in her own filth all night. Staff refused to change or help change. Lucky there is ONE good morning staff to change. I don't know how centers like this have nothing to for people who are allergic to gluten. For breakfast had bread on top of the eggs. There is no bio container, so all the stuff with excrement on it are in a pile in the room, including diapers.
Hello Garland Road Staff.......During the recent 2024 Christmas Holiday celebration, I want to express my appreciation for everyone's efforts to make the day special and memorable for the residents. The staff and nurses went above and beyond to make this time magical for the residents at Garland. I was present during the entire event with my sister Sharon. There was food, desserts, and punch served. The tree with MANY presents (one for every resident) was amazing. I am at the nursing home several times a week and observe the great care you provide for my sister. Thank you, Maralene Thomas
No matter how much I cried or begged for help it fell on deaf ears
My loved one was left on bloody poop diapers for 7-16+ hours at a time
Her medicine was not regulated and not available.
She was only given one breathing treatment in two days even though she needs them multiple times a day
